  3. Did you ever ask or get an answer?
  4. That was my plan, but wasn’t quick enough....and now Netflix pulled this out of nowhere....basterds!!!
  5. Today
  6. Cancelled my Netflix after the Stranger Things finale. Yeah, same...
  7. The alternate UN spacy kites seems like yet another rabbit hole unto itself. There's this discussion of some of the alternates that appear in SDFM and DYRL. I've also read that some units from the Daedalus and/or Prometheus have the inverted kite colors, but I have no idea where that came from or if it has any truth behind it. Bandai put the inverted kite on all their HMR destroids, two of which also have the Daedalus emblem on them, which weirdly contradicts the line art that can be seen in the MMM, which seems like the line art Bandai used for most of their HMR stuff. Also weirdly, the Phalanx is the only one with the inverted kite colors in the MMM line art. I haven't even bothered to go back through SDFM and see if there is any kind of rhyme or reason to it. It could all have started as yet another animation error for all I know. What does all this mean? I have no idea, and I'm not sure if there was ever any real intent behind it. Unless someone with some insider knowledge of the production speaks up, I think it will be open to speculation or, at best, left to secondary materials to try to come up with a logic to it.
  8. Oh, that's a popular one! Many versions are available. Don't we all? 😅 I'm hoping to complete at least one massive SDF-1 in the next six weeks... 🫥
  9. Yeah, I am still miffed that I didn’t buy the black and purple convention edition of him. In general I would have bought much more Reformatted release had I known it is a finite toy line.
  10. Oh, I loved their Reformatted Predaking. It remains the best combiner ever produced at that scale. Still definitive, even after all these years. 😍
  11. @electric indigoThats great to know. Thanks so much. Do you glove up during a lot of the process or do you just degrease right before you prime? Inquiring minds want to know. 😊 Also it’s true, Ted does an outstanding job and doesn’t break the bank.
  12. G.M.G. used to be a great figure line. The generic soldier figures came with alternate heads, helmets, and accessories for army-building, and as they began adding specific characters and vehicles, it got even better... ...but suddenly, as individual characters are being sold on cardbacks, anime accuracy has been thrown out the window. 😒 Unique headsculpts are getting slapped onto generic bodies, with horrific results. Mirai and Sayla are suddenly overweight, middle-aged hags. Amuro and Kai are suddenly as tall and broad-shouldered as Sleggar Law... who should actually be taller and lankier, actually. The new waves are an eyesore. None of these bodies are appropriate for these characters. If they try and shoehorn the pudgy Ryu and diminutive Hayato into this lineup, the results will be even more ridiculous... Buyer beware!
  13. They are both excellent toys. I am very pleased. The one thing I dislike are the square cuts in the shoulder and thigh swivels they look soooo ugly. I don’t know if MMC has learned a lot after Assaultus or if Devastator is just easier to do since he doesn’t have dedicated feet and the torso is comprised out of two toys. Ignis, while not nearly as bad as Incursus, is still wonky. Anyhow, I am curious what MMC does next. I have thee feeling it will be Raiden but I wish for a G1 all in one Feral Rex.
  14. Oh, I'm very aware! I might in the future, but if I start down the printed route, I've got a long queue of designs way in front of anything from Star Wars that I want to tackle first. They're not in the same scale, but fortunately Amazon didn't cancel my MGS bombers like they did a couple other ships, so I've at least got a couple for display. Though, now I'm reminded that I never got a Tie Phantom in any format.
  15. If you have $12, 500 (USD) to spare this will make a fine addition to your living room, lol. https://regalrobot.com/shop/star-wars/custom-starwars-furniture/han-solo-carbonite-coffee-table/
  16. YOu said it was going to be mega sized, but man, now that I see your hand in that shot, this is going to be a HUGE beast. I LOVE IT!!!
  17. 14 hours print for a single leg a needle will be attached on a soldering tool to widen the 1mm holes . 4 missiles have been printed by mistake, they will be removed later
  18. TFTM Hound releases in March but someone already received it. Can't wait to get Hound, Scourge, and Hot Rod. Kind of whatever in receiving Megatron and Optimus. They're all coming in at once.
  19. Honestly, I dig this Blackout, in large part because he looks nothing like Blackout. He looks like the Bayformers toy-only character Tomahawk.
  20. Awwww. : ( I suppose it is inevitable as a near-immortal machine intelligence that he'd have far too much experience with loss, but... frownie-face. I hope they reference the OTHER Doctor at some point. The lost backup EMH has been stuck in my head for years now. I want to know if he made it back to Federation space, and when.
  21. True dat. 🖐️ Looks like I've found another potential customer. 😅 You know I offer resin 3D-printing services, right? 😉 1:72, 1:48, or whatever scale you want to build it at... Several members of this forum can attest to the fine detail, quality, and affordability of my work. 😇
  22. Haven’t watched the show and probably won’t start, but since they seem to be training, is it possible the bridge is designed bigger to allow for multiple students at some point to view what is going on at certain stations? Been too busy watching old episodes of Sledgehammer and Dark Place that are fun than to start hate watching a new show
