I got The Art of the Transformers book from Japan. It contains everything I wanted with the exception of the Darkwing and Dreadwind box art and any of the Euro G1 exclusives but why would it since it is focused on the Japanese releases. It is a bit sad that not every Transformer got a whole page for itself (some of the combiner teams fill half a page for 5 pieces of artwork), so if you are a fan of those you miss out. Love the Overlord artwork (and all the Powermasters). I really want a G1 vintage MiB Powermaster collection l, since those were the toys on shelves when I was a kid (those and Euro G1). I wonder if Legacy: The Art of Transformers Packaging contains the art for the Euro G1 toys (Predators and Turbomasters).- 17369 replies

They really should have found a way to inset the leg robots further into the frame but doing so might interfere with the knee joint. Or they probably starred by reusing the Menasor frame and couldn’t make it work in the allotted budget.- 17369 replies

What purpose do the leg bots even serve besides being snap-on calves? I guess they're just trying to mimic the fronts of the leg bots with the frame, but it's kinda crummy that you don't even need the actual bots to affect the same appearance. Shame that they didn't put the plane bits out front on the G1 toy and in the animation, but history is written and here we have it in plastic.- 17369 replies

Ahhh isekai. I'll start watching Isekai again when they start being like Fushigi Yuugi, Escaflowne, Rayearth, Shurato Inuyasha or Gate. Really tired of the died and reincarnated by a God in another world with OP abilities. Hmmm....think I'll rewatch Gate now. Just binged Macross 7 and Hellsing. Good classics. So for Summer 2025 watchlist: Sono Bisque Doll S2. Dan Da Dan S2. Kaiju No 8 S2. Call of the Night S2. Shield Hero S4. Sakamoto Days S2. Futari Solo Camp S1 Fermat No Ryouri S1 One Piece S ...21? 22? Anne Shirley S2 -

apologies for my incomplete sentences! is 1/24 scale booth display fully articulated FDM printed for now. since the injection product needs to wait for about 2yrs, sorry.

Hi again. Apologetically, this may be an ambiguity of language and perhaps some of us don't understand the intended meaning. When you said "is anyone interested in purchasing and build?" * Did you mean "interested in buying and building a 1/24 STL"? Or... * Did you mean "interest in buying and building a 1/24 or 1/48 product as STL 3D print in FDM/PLA rather than wait for future injection mold product"? . I believe you surely realize many people on this forum deeply admire your creation and would likely want to buy a kit once ready to start a sales campaign. So if your question is intended to gauge interest, I would strongly advise you do this similar to how ChristopherM did the VF!AG campaign. Announce a date range of when you will be collecting preorders, decide whether you will ask for up-front deposits and how you will collect the funds (PayPal etc), and reveal the final, total price per unit. Otherwise, people here won't understand if you are "formally" announcing intent to sell product, or just polling for general interest. I think we also understand that you could run a campaign for STL 3D printing now, and a year or two later have a larger, commercial scale offering based on your intended tooling investment for plastic injection molding. Again, great creation

If you are going with the 5060/Ti, get a 16GB version. The PSU is a toss up to upgrade now or later. The newer PSUs are going to be coming with over-current protection specifically on the stupid 12Vx6 so you'll probably want to wait for those. Since you are eying the 5060/5070s, you won't have to deal with melting pins, but Nvidia is in their "let's pump MORE POWAA"-to-the-GPUs-phase so down the road, it could be an issue. Regarding supply, I wouldn’t keep hoping Nvidia normalizes their supply, even when the Supers come out. It’s pretty evident they do not care for consumer gaming GPUs with most of their wafer allocation being devoted to data center GPUs. -

Very happy to see that a third season of The Apothecary Diaries has been announced. Between that and the forthcoming fourth season of Ascendance of a Bookworm, the "weird girl with highly situational knowledge" crowd are going to be eating well indeed. Picked up a couple more of the Summer '25 simulcast offerings. Hopefully they'll have more to offer than the likes of New Saga or Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter. Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant! is yet another one of these isekai-adjacent form letter JRPG fantasy stories about a nice guy protagonist who finds himself being kicked out of The Strongest Adventurer Party because its leader is a cowardly and arrogant slimeball who clearly hasn't thought it through, and despite being a max level utterly broken demigod opts to leave his companions in the slimeball's care and quit adventuring altogether and go live a slow life boonies. Inevitably as the f***ing tides, the slimeball will slowly crash out during the season since he didn't realize how much he needed the protagonist while the protagonist lives his best life. It's nothing we haven't seen fifty times before over the last eight years. First impressions are that Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant! is bland and inoffensive, lacking anything to really make it feel distinct in any sense. The Water Magician defies the trend of being isekai-adjacent j-fantasy in favor of just being a straight isekai story. 20 year old Ryou, a protagonist so generic he might as well have a barcode for a face, falls victim to legendary isekai serial killer Truck-kun and awakens to find himself in a featureless void with a being who professes to be an angel. He learns that he is to be reincarnated in a fantasy world, but not for any particular purpose, so he requests to live a slow life. The angel sets him up with a house in a peaceful area, several months of supplies, and leaves him to it after informing him he's compatible with water magic and leaving him a knife and two books on local flora and fauna. First impression... The Water Magician is unlikely to develop into anything interesting. The tropes it uses make it feel like its original web novel should be around a decade older than it is... apparently this series is from just five years ago, rather than the fifteen it feels like from how it's written. I was going to start Lord of Mysteries, but I realized after looking up its Wikipedia page that it's another bloody isekai and I'm overdosed on that trope for one night. Apparently this one is a Chinese isekai series instead of a Japanese one, with a fantasy Victorian England-inspired setting full of magic and steampunk instead of standard j-fantasy wilderness. - Yesterday

Hasegawa is re-releasing these two kits, just FYI: 1/72 VF-31A Kairos - Macross Delta 1/48 VF-1J Super/Strike Valkyrie SVF-41 Black Aces The Black Aces is my favorite squadron scheme of the ones they’ve done, so I’m tempted, but I already have a couple I haven’t built yet.
