Yes the V.O.T.O.M H-MR Line is quite good! Unlike some of the older H-MR stuff, I don't think we will see the Fatty until March-April 2026 Since the haven't completed tooling yet. I Think after the Bloodsucker we might see a colour variant like the Brutishdog before we get the FATTY.... But it's turning out to be a great line, with Bandai making some nice AT variants we haven't had as a figure in this scale & with this amount of detail from anyone else. Just hope they keep at it up, unlike the DX VF-1 Macross line which seems almost dead.... 🥲

Hey guys, anyone interested in a recently released (duh) VF-0A? I only opened it to inspect it (everything is great). Never transformed. I only bought as a double since I did not want to cancel my orders at HLJ. $315 and free shipping. I only ship to the states (I can provide photos, just pm me.) 🤩

Question regarding Bandai DX VF-1D and super packs

Just opened up the Space Dog today, and I have to say that it is a really nice toy. High Metal-R really knows how to bring the Real Robot love. Over the last few years Bandai has done a great job with the depth and width in its HMR range. Yeah so far there are slight variations often, but I understand they need to get their money's worth out of each tooling. Besides if having to what amounts to 3 Scopedogs in the range (not to mention a dozen or so VF-1 variants) mean that I get to have 3 different models from L-Gaim im cool with it. The only ones I have missed in the line up are the two SPT Layzner offerings. Amyway... anyone have any idea when the Fatty is going up for preorder?

just curios could you clarify the fitment issue? I was under the assumption that legs arms and the backpack were all the same across the molds and that is what the super parts attach to. Is the D backpack unique? would be a cool piece of dx trivia lol thanks!

She'd almost certainly be found out fairly easily if she's still alive when the Rebel Alliance/New Republic finally takes control of the prison she's been left to rot in. After all, Dedra Meero was/is the Imperial officer responsible for orchestrating one of the Empire's first really overt and undisguised atrocities. She is a high profile war criminal in the eyes of the Rebel Alliance. The kind of person they're likely to want to bring to justice one way or the other. Whether that justice takes the form of a shoot-on-sight order or an order to arrest them and bring them to trial to be either re-imprisoned or executed depends on when and who finds her. (I'd assume the Rebels likely have some kind of card deck for high-profile Imperial officers and war criminals the way the US does to help troops identify enemy leaders.) Of course, this all presumes that she would still be alive at the time the Rebel Alliance either located and took control of the prison complex or the New Republic took over from the Empire. There is a very strong argument that she would not be alive by the time that happens. Unlike a regular Narkina inmate, ex-ISB supervisor Dedra Meero knows full bloody well that she's been handed a death sentence. Nobody is ever actually released from the prison. They just get shuffled around until they're worked to death or kill themselves. With her entire life and career now destroyed and being well aware that she is there to be worked to death, it's likely she will opt to step onto a hot floor and fry herself as we saw inmates do in season one rather than suffer for years. If her identity as a former ISB supervisor becomes known to her fellow inmates, she's likely to find herself being killed by her fellow prisoners. If she at any point lets slip that there is no actual release from the Narkina prisons, she's likely to find herself and everyone else on her floor being killed by the guards to keep the information a secret as we saw happen in season one. If the Empire decides to withdraw from or shut down the prisons because they are either not needed or at risk of falling into Rebel hands, the most likely outcome is that the Empire will simply activate ALL the floors and kill every inmate in the prison so that none of them will join the fight against them. Ultimately, the odds of Meero still being alive to be found by the Rebel Alliance or New Republic are very very slim. It's vastly more likely that she would be dead, either at her own hand or that of the prison guards, by the time the prisons come under Rebel or New Republic control.

That’s if she found out. With a mass breakout, it would be easy for ex prisoners to get away fairly easy. Seems pretty common after the rebels took over.

I feel exactly the same way @Chronocidal - I feel they just phoned this one in. I was so excited to hear about this one, I love official Lego sets especially their space stuff but there's so many bad shapes that I can't seem to support this set. The 747 shape is so wrong, and my KnightKnight Shuttle is so much better than this one.

BTILC is still one of my favorite movies. Peter was also in a lot of other shows and movies that were super cool around that time.

That sucks. That white piece has been redesigned a few times, supposedly for better durability, but now I'm not so sure that worked out. The ones you have there look like the newest design. The old ones had thicker clips. They didn't, with very few, specific exceptions, like torso stickers on some of the 1978 sets. I hate stickers and think Lego should print everything. Cobi, Mega, Funwhole, etc print basically everything these days so there's no excuse. I mean, I've heard the excuses that Lego PR shills repeat but they fall apart under scrutiny.

Mon is not specifically mentioned to be involved with Meero, but Ghorman had been her particular issue in the Senate for literal years before the massacre and her denunciation of the Emperor in the Senate. She first mentions it all the way back in season 1, around 3 years before the actual massacre. It's a fairly safe bet she knows most of the information about what happened there. If not upfront, then at least after the fact. It was her key wedge issue that led to the creation of the Rebel Alliance. She absolutely would not break Meero out of prison though. She would probably put her on trial and send her back to prison rather than execute her though.

Don’t forget that Wilmon’s girlfriend (that he was sharing a meal with during the ending montage) is also a former Ghorman Front member.

Ok, almost all of those things are covered in the video I linked above. I think only the "right elbow" thing is something additional to look out for. It's so refreshing to own a valk that is simply SCREWED together, and not GLUED together. So easy to open it up to work on.- 9288 replies

The Unlicensed Third Party Transformers Thread
Chronocidal replied to slaginpit's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I wrote a little about the issues I found in one of the other topics, and in the review I posted on ShowZ. They were nothing major, just some little assembly and tolerance issues that can probably be fixed by a disassembly and cleanup, or at worst, replacing a couple of parts with official Yamato ones. Biggest ones were these: 1. Squeaky/overly tight shoulder balljoint friction pads (fixed by loosening shoulder screws, or lubrication) 2. Right elbow double joint wasn't quite assembled properly, leaving it bulging and very stiff to move (probably needs disassembly/reassembly, but it doesn't prevent transformation or posing) 3. Overly large chest-plate locking ridges make it really difficult to detach the chest from the backplate while going to battroid (easy fix, file down the locking ridges inside the chest by ~25% or so) No real showstoppers, just little KO idiosynchrasies. The elbow is probably the most significant issue, since it makes clipping the arms under the back in fighter a little tricky since it's wider than it should be. Worst case, I would just swap in actual Yamato arms and add the stripes. I imagine the tolerances are close enough that you could swap everything below the ball joint, or maybe up to the swingbars.- 9288 replies
