    Sorry, have to make a correction to a common misconception here - May did not perform the shows theme for the series itself; instead he produced a cover version of it. The story goes that he and his son enjoyed watching the show, and May was inspired to do his own version. The Japanese original, "X-Bomber", has a very different Japanese language theme (and its a rare case where a Western substitution was probably the better option!). Regards "Dunbine", the actual original series itself can be argued to be "of its time" (i.e. its a bit of a long slog if you're not used to "classic" TV anime) but it also shows off Tominos genius for world building (and his penchant for bizarre character names) and the interior workings of the "Dunbine" mecha were rather ahead of their time - I'm looking at you, Hideki Anno... 😉

    You guys seemed to have missed my other hint, "Earthbound," as in bound to the earth... 😝 It doesn't fly, it doesn't transform, it doesn't move at all. It does, however, consist of hundreds of laser-cut acrylic panels...

    Finished off Solo Camping. I liked it. Went further then the live-action version which came out before the anime did. Basically a rom with a camping backdrop. Banished Court Magician....cookie cutter I'm stronger then they realize now I'm gonna kick some ass. Forgettable. Punching Princess.....funny as hell. I would love for it to have a S2. Tojima wants to be Kamen Rider......it did it's job. I'm now going to hunt down and catch up on decades of KR. Mugen Gatcha....pure revenge. He's still got more people to get revenge on. Coming up: Frieren S2 Hells Paradise S2 Jujutsu Kaisen - eh....my nephews and nieces watch this so I may as well. Fire Force .... already read the manga waiting. Cloudly renders high altitude contrails, sunlight will reflect off of cockpit canopies allowing you to see enemies at distance. Lead devs are aware that Ace Combat is beloved for walking a tight rope between realism, authenticity and arcade simplicity, ease of play.

    Another interestin question to ask is what comes first: the size of the Zentradi or the Size of the VF-1? Did Kawamori desing the VF-1 and then the alien race to fight those machines? Or was the opossite?

    Looking great, it’s definitely coming along. Is it the cat. They usually are the first at the high ledges If you have the design ms, you could try doing home made ones. I’ve seen a few YouTube videos of people making their own

    Man, that's beautiful. As much as I love 3D-printing, I wish there were more PE upgrade parts available for spacecraft conning towers, antennae, etc. At the moment, however, I have more Earthbound concerns... Guess what this metal framework is intended to support? Hint: it's a 1:48 model.

    An upgraded 1/55 would surely do well in this current market and paired up Supar Parts. Takatoku/Matsushiro really put a ton a great care effort into their creation the quality and engineering really shine throughout. Hopefully, one day Bandai will make it real. As for now I will remain content with this custom.
