  1. Past hour
  2. I promise if they do a Studio Series Unicron it'll be smaller and cheaper than the Haslab. Anyway, the teaser was for the Matrix.
  3. Two points. #1 Just realized this is the second Marvel live action comic book hero that Nic Cage is starring as. First was Ghost Rider but this role seems more fitting. #2 If this series is good then it solidifies my opinion that PRIME has the best live action (THE BOYS) and animated comic book series (Invincible) on streaming.
  4. Today
  5. Will for sure be watching it in black and white.
  6. I know it’s not a completely historically accurate replica, but wound up getting a GT40 in the Ken Miles livery:
  7. I doubt they’re skipping, more like going back one forth a bit. Then again, Bandai does like to forget a team member. But seriously, they’re gonna milk these as much as possible. The real question is if we’re getting the cannon fodder 31 rather than one for the main team
  8. Stuff happens in the latest episode to raise the stakes and brings back Paul Giamatti. Who I don't find to be the interesting enough of a villain. Star Fleet really went down the toilet if someone like his character is the big bad. The show is trying really hard in this episode to make you care for what happens to these characters, but don't I really care. A problem for shows that have finished making all the episodes for a season before they even air is that they get zero feedback of what the audience thinks. No chances for course correction if they aren't connecting to your characters. Episode also features more stupid gaps in logic. That ship sounds like a dangerous place for training exercise are we the audience supposed to be surprised that something bad happens? In the previous episode SAM in an angry drunk state had superhuman strength. Why didn't they reprogram SAM to fight this threat?
  9. Basic form of the cockpit and the chest alterations are largely done now. Have to knit together the seams and do the backpack next, along with all the grips and lifting eyes. The designers of this thing used lfiting eyes like glitter and peppered them all over the place. It's probaly got about 50 of them scattered over its surface. Guess it can make sense if you think of it as a modular unit with different arm attachments and such that need to be lifting into and out of place as needed, but just funny how many they used when the Cheyenne and Frontier workroid have zero. Suppose that'sthe difference between the Delta workroid getting a close up moment whereas the others were never anything but background. And, yes, I'm avoiding doing the arms, is it obvious? Some heavy lifting there (pun slightly intended) and I can't kitbash them from anything so I'll have to build them from scratch. Oh well, at least I know what I'll be doing next week. 😉
  10. I just wish the Macross crossover was done better. Maybe DNA Upgrade can fix it? That upgraded Godzilla Megatron looks really good.
  11. Didn't they show prototypes of all 5 vf-31 heads a while back? I doubt they are skipping the vf-31f.
  12. This looks great. Definitely gonna go for the black and white. As long as it’s as entertaining as the preview, I’ll definitely do a color rewatch though. Cage seems very Cage here and definitely gives the character an edge and he gets plaaasterrred….
  13. I wonder if that's the way they'll go: it was already a $600+ toy years ago when prices were lower; then again, he commands a hefty tag on the secondary, so Hasbro probably sees opportunity there. Guess we'll see. AFAIK, no other titan class figs beyond Bayverse Grimlock have been announced, so if it is indeed a titan class, they kept that from leaking. Kinda glad now that I supported the Haslab, as the figure has appreciated nicely. It has presence, but I hate the laziness of the engineering and all the plates hanging off his legs and back, especially when Studio Cell was able to integrate all that planet kibble into the bot mode rather seamlessly. That Evangelion crossover is a weird one, but I guess mashing those two highly popular IPs together makes sense from a marketing view. I'm not too plussed by it, and I'm an Evangelion fan, especially for Eva Unit 01. I wish, instead, they'd made a Unit One that can transform into maybe a jet or something. That's the sort of crossover that would interest me. Just like the VF-19, mashing an anime mecha with a version of Optimus Prime, or any established character for that matter, just doesn't really grab me. The Overgear stuff looks cool. Again, I'm not really persuaded to the buying point, but I'm curious to see what else they do in the line if these initial toys sell well.
  14. Looking forward to this.
  15. OK, B&W trailer looks superior. Sign me up!
  16. Not too recent, as I've had it for about three weeks now. 2024 Trax, by far, the newest car I've ever owned!
  17. https://www.toyark.com/2026/02/10/mattel-acquires-the-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-toy-license-581218?fbclid=IwY2xjawP6045leHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeMk3TYCtAI0jGYyE5XB0bXm9a24XVBrgtdxkb3-5HBoC4Q2OXZfjxlzROD8o_aem_hFLDV97JBpxQ2KhdKMsnMA TMNT Origins line?
  18. Definitely one of the greats, also gotta love Slayer on the soundtrack
