Good luck! I've been waiting for nearly a year for my 1S part that's the size of a finger nail. They're using the tariffs as an excuse not to have customer service. Honestly though, I'm shocked they would agree to your request since it doesn't seem like it occurred to them until Max went into production... They shouldn't have any necks in a different color.

Yeah, Superman was a bad intro to the character, but I'm liking this more the more I see.

So I just picked up the BluRay while I was in Japan this past winter break from Mandarake. I want to be able to watch this from my computer (while I work), but I don't have the necessary gear to rip it. So this might be a weird request but would someone where be able to share their 4k rip with me or point me to a place where I can download it? -
The Unlicensed Third Party Transformers Thread
M'Kyuun replied to slaginpit's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yes. No. I'll agree to disagree. The Feios looks like a flying pancake. Moreover, it has smooth, unbroken lines whereas the Xiwanshe design is broken up, with a great deal of obvious layering effects across its surfaces. It would be, by virtue of design, very prone to drag. The Xiwanshe is a good sci-fi design, but unlike Kawamori's generally more grounded valks, impractical. Potentially, although I'm thinking Kawamori would smooth out all the rough edges and layering effects. I like the design, I'm just looking at it from a view to aerodynamics. However, anything will fly with enough thrust behind it. regarding the DNA kit for Alpha Trion, I like the look of those wings in flight mode, and they make for a nice cape in bot. I'm not going to spend the money, but I do think this meets the criteria for a proper upgrade, as it enhances any number of aspects of the figure, which is already pretty good, IMHO. Oh my, yes! I'm waiting on my copy to arrive, but FINALLY, a complete set of Omnibots! As much as I have to grudgingly agree, Downshift being the only one I owned as a kid and still my favorite, I think the poorly named Camshaft takes the prize as their best overall design amongst the three. XTB needlessly complicated the leg design on Overdrive, making it a tentative and frustrating process to transform, IMHO. YMMV, of course. I feel there's something off about Downshift, but I can't quite pinpoint it. I like it, but I have that feeling. Ironically, Camshaft was always my least favorite of the three, but I think XTB did their best work with this guy. The bot proportions are really good, and his car mode, as do all three, looks amazing. Camshaft's G1 toy arguably had the worst weaponized mode, and that follows with this fig despite XTB's attempts to update it and clean it up a bit. IMO, anyway. Still, it does the gimmick as it should. I'll be happy to have him in hand to place alongside his two partners. Now Takara, and Hasbro by extension, needs to crank out some Legacy Omnibots. We've waited far too long for official updates. edit: After I finished this post, I checked my mail only to find my copy of Camshaft waiting for me. Great looking figure! So happy to have all three at long last. Nevertheless, two complaints: first, the back of the car that swings under the upper torso has two L-shaped pegs that basically drop down into slots in armatures and the near entirety of the upper torso is seemingly only held in place by gravity. I tried squeezing down on them to see if they'd engage a little more firmly, but they don't seem to. That means the torso instantly disengages and pops up like a PEZ dispenser with any amount of handling. I even watched a couple transformation vids and it appears I'm doing it right, so if your experience is different, correct me please! BTW, the torsos in both vids seemed to tab firmly unlike my fig, so IDK what I'm doing wrong. Second, by virtue of the shields around the guns' grips, I find it almost impossible to get any leverage to allow the pins on said grips to insert into the slots in the palms. All I can do is try to close the fingers as tightly around them as I can and try to avoid bumping them lest they pop out of the hands and go flying. Edit 2: I used a pair of needlenose pliers to push those L-shaped tabs into their slots, at which point they engaged. It just surprised me that I needed those, as they don't just drop into place and lock on mine as I've seen in other vids. I have to squeeze the armatures inwards, too, for proper alignment. As those pegs are only plastic, I'm rue to just push down with any force, as I fear breaking them off. I already broke one of the seat bits on Overdrive when it got stuck in place and I had to use some force to get it to move. Just so, I'm leery to apply force to anything.- 9436 replies

"He-Man and Masters of the Universe" Film by Sony

The popcorn alone will set you back more than a few dollars. Although if it ends up looking that cool, it might make a cool stand in for action figures if you can wash off the greezy butter -
I think that unfortunately the first trailer kinda ruined my interest in this movie. Not that I really had much after her appearance in Superman

I'm with you on excessive bulk. I really like the super packs and how they enhance the shape of the plane and battroid while still working with the overall style of the designs. I've never like the armor packs specifically because they tend to feel like they're trying to turn the plane into a different mech. While that's a valid thing to do in setting (and, honestly, really IS what they are for), aesthetically it's never appealed to me, though I like the concept of modular add ons for capability enhancements. It's why I both love the mission containers on the 31 and hate the wasted opportunity they represent. 😉 You're not wrong. That head is really the prototype for the 25S and if you squint at it, that's the shape it was meant to be. Like I said above, when I first saw it, it connected in my head to that 'underbite' feature on the F head and my brain spun off from there. Having looked at what I came up with in 3D now, I think I'm backing off to more of a "Briareos from Appleseed" shape with mandibles than the V-shovel I came up with, though I think there are ways to make it work. We'll see where it goes as i play with it. This is very true, and something I love about the man. He never really gives up on an idea, just looks for a different place to use it. Something to take inspriration from in my engineering life, I think. 😉

I wish DNA Design would make upgrade kits for DX Valkyries. I've tried 3D printed parts before and while its nice to have the option, the quality of the plastic isn't the same as the injection molding like the ones DNA Design uses.

From the design, it looks like it became the BGP-02 beam gunpod used by the YF-27. Kawamori almost never lets anything go to waste.

This would look really cool on my shelf at night for sale! There are about six different patterns with different timing that make it seem like it slowly disappears." -

Not sure if at the time this kit was produced if it was difficult to cast certain pieces but this IMS Terror Mirage kit has so many smaller “granular” parts to make a simple part it feels overly complicated. Not a complaint. Just an observation as I move through the sub assembly.

Do you by any chance have a picture of this Famimart VF-25 in Gerwalk or Battroid mode? This is so hillarious 🤣

While I'm no fan of excessive bulk and odd dangling shapes, for an aircraft, and a potential toy, I think it's a pretty cool looking mech. If only it wasn't supposed to transform lol. I have a love-hate relationship with armor packs in general. I love the gimmicks, and the silhouette changes on existing parts, but I don't like the oversized brick nature and excessive additional overhanging components of them. Most of those parts look like they bring reasonable specialized function to the base battroid. Even the absurdness of the pronged gun and big arm blade, could be excused if there was some plot relevant use. I just don't like the spatula fin funnel things and their bulky drum mounts, which IMO don't look good on gundam or any other mecha, and can't really be explained as an attachement over the aircraft's wings. The fighter sketch looks close to the final armored design, with an extra giant gun. The gun itself is too alien for my tastes, but I'm sad that the idea of another gunpod for the armored pack was lost. As for the head, it looks like you interpreted the lower jaw as a V. Will be interesting to see how it turns out because I see the sketch differently. My take is that it's either vertical cheeks only tapering on the x axis towards the front, or even ^ shaped where the lense parts just scallop out the peak. The lense would be smaller and temple/cheeks much wider, as well as the glass you have yet to or not planning to model bubble out and overhang the jaw. Not sure if that make's sense in text lol
