  2. roflmao!!! scalper gonna keep scalping... ...exorbitantly!
  3. I still don’t remember ever seeing that much red on the missiles in the show after searching for missile sets, it seems that none of the products have that red area around the fins. I checked Bandai hmr, dx and their 172 kit, various Yamato/Arcadia toys, Hasegawa and even Max Factory and wave kits as well. They’re all white in that area. Gonna have to try and see if there are any screen shots that show the red
  4. Yeah, it’s strange how a simple color swap makes the body look totally different the clown colors on what they’re calling the “White Gundam” don’t they do it any favors. But the head on the 01 looks a lot better as well
  5. Late reply, but yep, whatever you changed looks like it did the trick. I think you could reasonably set it at a lower number of seconds, the issue was just that the search time limits were actually preventing you from even exploring the search results that had already been returned. Say I was looking for a specific topic, and searched for a keyword, but it returned multiple pages of topics, and it wasn't on the first page, the time limits were preventing the user from going to the next page of results too quickly. I don't quite know how the search logic of the forum software behaves, but the behavior I was seeing was that it was treating every action on the search results as a new search. I couldn't just move to page 2 of the results it already pulled, it was treating it more like you were just re-performing the search, and returning page 2 instead of page 1.
  6. Today
  7. i'm talking about the vf-5000 not the reissues. The reissues such as the SDF-1 will for sure be released this year.
  8. Man, I hope not. I was really hoping for the SDF-1 reissue this year.
  9. Yesterday
  10. Thanks for sharing. I’ll make sure and check it out.
  11. You know what would make this dark remake with murderous dwarves even better? Singing.
  12. There is always good reference on Macross Mecha Manual. This is for TV versions.
  13. The gelgoogs are a literal headscratcher and strange product planning. They look pretty lame, but the red one by itself at least could've been understandable for its place in the story. The black (dark navy?) one getting a kit is kind of nonsense. It's just a palette swap that belongs in p-bandai, and even then, it would have been too insignificant to get a kit. Meanwhile the 01 is also primarily a palette swap, just with a new face and a couple more weapons, yet somehow has an absolutely different presence. Its nearly just as easy to make as spamming those gelgoogs, and would have been their cash cow based on the general reception i'm hearing
  14. btw, Bandai totally goofed on the box again... Should be ATM-09-SA designation for the Space Dog...
  15. i stand by this
  16. Bandai sometimes likes to have fun on their displays
  17. Maybe if you know anyone that’s good at sewing and such that they could take the outfit and do a pattern for it and you could get some possibly better materials at Joann’s since all their stores are liquidating pretty cheap.
  18. Not saying they were ever originally intended for construction, just that after possible over production, that they were mostly considered surplus and sold off as construction and security uses. There could also be something going on the background with the war ending so soon that the mobile suit production companies could be backing the betting since this is the closest thing to actual combat testing they can find with the war over. I was also thinking that. And like you, was actually disappointed that they skipped those two even though they had the big fights in that second episode. And I was even more disappointed to see that they’re making both of those ugly legged gelgoogs instead of either of the Gundam 01 or Guncannon into kits
  19. I can't wait for the next season of it to start. Konosuba is so much fun. But it also completely absurd to the end.
  20. Came in looking for updates -- I'd settle for rumors and minor crumbs -- on the VF-5000 Star Mirage and I'm leaving disappointed...
  21. Yeah, I think the argument was to have the cameo now to get everyone hot and bothered. Get the recasting out of the way. And then let the character actually do “work” during the next arc. Have folks focus on what the character actually does, rather than the recasting itself.
  22. Always tell Amazon. They will make it right.
  23. In an interview last week with Rolling Stone, Tony Gilroy revealed the two legacy characters who would not appear in season 2. The title of the article is a partial spoiler to this, so I won't link it. Speaking of legacy characters,
  24. Got my Max figure in last week. In hand it didn't turn out as bad as I thought, maybe because my expectations were already low lol. Generally, when fiddling with it up close there are some cringey details, mainly the cheap looking material used for his white uniform, and his rather meh facial sculpt. On other hand, the cut of his outfit has been done rather well with a rather nice fit for a figure at this scale, and didn't seem as ill-measured as what I remembered from early pics. At normal display distance, it turns out to be rather decent and glad that I didn't have that expected buyer's remorse. A note about these KC cloth outfits - I hope some of the PVC detailing printed on the cloth do not dry out and crack prematurely. Now that I have Max, I think of Miriya and am now wondering whatever happened to KC's plan for her? We've been so caught up with their KS campaign, subsequent announcements of Destroids, Glaug & what not that she seems to have been forgotten... Not a sculpt or even artwork of her, when she should already have been released together with the metallic arcade VF-1s.
  25. I'd assume that, as in the real UC, Mobile Suits in this bad future alternate UC were developed as weapons from the start rather than as construction equipment. (It's only in the Gundam AUs that Mobile Suits were developed as nonmilitary hardware first.) Given that MS's like the Zaku are still military hardware even in alternate UC 0085, it seems unlikely that they would be in civilian hands as industrial machinery... and they're also be astonishingly expensive, making it unlikely a civilian construction firm would risk totaling one (or more) on illegal underground fights. The idea that a handful of broke refugees are able to acquire, repair, maintain, and arm something like a Zaku is pretty silly on its own. It's even worse with Shuji and the Red Gundam, since he's seemingly doing it all himself in a cramped airlock space that the Gundam doesn't even fit in. Just Anno's usual sloppy writing. Well... yeah? That's what it is. The Beginnings pamphlet from the movie suggests that Zeon cancelled the original MS-14 Gelgoog program after Char captured the RX-78 Gundam. It seems that Zeonic simply reused the cancelled program's name for their mass produced Gundam they reverse-engineered from the RX-78, making the Gelgoog literally a Zeon GM.
