I am actually excited by this release. I cannot afford to get the almost $600 USD release of the Pose+ 1/28 scale ultra Legioss, and I do not know how expensive a Sentinel Legioss would be when I would be able to acquire one, but at least $200+, so if I cant get a good enough Legioss/Alpha, that is playable and wont fall apart because they glued metal to plastic (looking at you CM), and it is $100 or less, then this can be a perfect fix for my desire for transforming jets! Looking forward to more news on this! Twich

I’ll be posting some pics here and there for sure. I usually am loaded with ideas, but have terrible time management.

Sounds like you have a great plan. I would love to see it once you get time to finish it up.

i'll keep an eye on the tariffs see what happens 2026 You brought one of my YF-21's, i'd be glad to sell you a ghost if I get back to my storage unit East Coast possibly in early 2026. I'm interviewing for a position that may take me back East Coast by end of the year if I land it.

It still looks cool even without the diorama. Unfortunately, I didn’t finish in time. I got the majority of the hard work done, primed the model and got a base color and a rough camo on it, but ran out of time due to stuff around the house. But I still plan to finish it up since I got pretty far already. I was gonna add some body and arm stripes, and of course decals and weathering. then I gotta do the interior and pilot and a bit of weathering on the inside to make things look a bit lived in since the pilot face looks a bit on the aged side (the guy’s face in the box pictures has grey facial hair). I don’t think I want him that old, but I would like to try a little bit of grey streaks to give a been there done that kinda look I got a small base to attach the brass rods for a display and I want to do a sorta lunar surface kinda look. I also had scratch built a tower that I want to make look like a sorta communications use signal tower thingy. I’m just gonna take my time since I already didn’t make the deadline. I think if I had another week or two, I’d have had it finished, but as a consolation, I get to take my time at this point

I submitted a few photos for the HLJ Ma.K. contest that @Big s posted about. This is a smaller 1:35 scale which was fast and easy. It was a fun motivator to try out brush painting lacquers and I think it turned out pretty alright. I was working on a diorama too but scrapped it in the end. Here’s a few images taken with my phone. Phone cameras are not too shabby these days. @Big s Did you finish up your build for the contest?

Agreed; I have a knockoff G1 Devy (really would like to get an actual G1 version) and the plastic is just crap on it. Going forward, I recommend Permatex Plastic Welder; it has better shear strength and is all around a better adhesive.- 17557 replies

Guess you missed my follow-up post. I had really meant completed model (or toy). I can't handle kits anymore beyond a pre-painted snap-together one. At least something like what Pegasus did with the Paramount '56 War Of The Worlds license. A kit, then a completed model, then a completed lit one, etc.

Mission Start !..

Hmm... I may hold off on my project to see if they have that kit at a reasonable price then. It'd be interesting to see of perhaps they mold some of the body sections in clear styrene.

Awesome thank you both! Looking at HLJ, they show the pearl gray one being available December 2009 so I think maybe it's this: 1st Yamato fan racer was the WHITE version, sold in a box, with 1000 available at Shizuoka Hobby Show in May of 2009 with the rest available through Yamato's website. NO PILOT. 2nd release is the pearl gray version that was available through normal retail. WITH PILOT. 3000 Yen December 2009. 3rd release is the CLEAR version that was packaged with the Angelbirds in December 2010 through Macross Chronicle with more being released in May 2011. WITH PILOT. Maybe some more of the clear version were available on the Yamato website.

Did find this which says the clear version does come with the pilot...I think that was the question

I follow Pose+ and have a couple of their pieces but yeah they do previews 6 months to year out before release. Their Shin Getter line and GaoGaiGar are premium so I’m looking forward to having this as a mostpeada center piece
