DatterBoy
$37 bucks.... and then $13-15 for shipping... Damn.... Edited February 11, 2004 by DatterBoy
Draykov
Yeah, for $37 bucks I can get a couple of Sithlord's stands and have change left over. From what I've seen of this thing, it isn't special enough for me to waste $37 bucks on. Especially if you can't even attach the gunpod on the Valk while it's on the stand. Mechamaniac
Sheesh, relax d00d5. HLJ is ballz expensive especially when it comes to shipping. Just wait, and I am sure one of our fine e-tailers will have it much cheaper. They rarely if ever let us down.
Mad Dawg
For $37 they can sure as hell release some press photos so I can see what's so $37 about it in the first place.

Uxi
I guess it's good if u do dioramas... I always thought the legs were good enough for battroid and gerwalk and landing gear for fighter mode...

Draykov
What is this? The launch arm thingy? If it were the DYRL? launch arm, I'd be a lot more excited about it. It seems to be an attempt at such, while still making a functional stand. Edited February 12, 2004 by Draykov
nedragdnuos
http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/magazi...v-03-page-2.jpg Ahhhh I finally found the pic..... i knew it was in one of the mags.... I would assume its the DYRL launch arm as you can see its holding the 1/48....
wolfx
Actually if i remembered correctly, the launch arm is supposed to grab the TOP of the valkyrie, not the bottom.
Anubis
Actually if i remembered correctly, the launch arm is supposed to grab the TOP of the valkyrie, not the bottom. Not technically feasible with these valks. Holding it by the fast packs is a bad thing (backpack hinge). In any case, I like my acrylic stands. mechaninac
I just looked at the pictures on HLJ and noticed a YF-19 in there. While it is impossible to tell form that small, grainy, image, could that be our "first glance" at the much anticipated YF-19 FP? Just wondering... Neova
I just looked at the pictures on HLJ and noticed a YF-19 in there. While it is impossible to tell form that small, grainy, image, could that be our "first glance" at the much anticipated YF-19 FP? Just wondering... There were no fast packs in the picture and it looks like the regular YF-19a (1st or 2nd edition) with that tinge of plastikey yellow. I hope that is not the newest YF-19a. The stand supports 1/72, 1/60 and 1/48 Valkyries and I bet it will also support the 1/100 Macross Zero line too, seeing how Yamato likes to re-scale their toys to roughly the same size (1/100-1/60 scales). Hurin
well. the show was in 0 g. so it worked there. lol. Grabbing something by a weak point and shaking vigorously will just as surely break it in 0g as within a gravity field. Momentum and mass are not affected by gravity. . . only weight. H Edit: Rather than momentum, I wish I had used the word "intertia." Edited February 14, 2004 by Hurin
