Edit to add an actual question, any more news on the super pack set? They've shown it displayed on Roys VF, but the display tag said Rick I think? Has there been any news about which one it will actually be sold with, or if it will be sold separately?

wow, really? where did they show the super pack? Been waiting for that release

Aside from a 1D trainer, I hope 3Zero makes their own 1D Virgin Road... still regret selling the one I got in HK  a long time ago.

It's funny, when I think of the DYRL 1A, I always imagine my dream green 1J, and my fingers follow. The slip has happened before, and surely will again. 😄

I doubt I could sleep having done that. I don't sleep already while looking to own my first.

It's a shame we've only ever gotten a Korean bootleg in this color scheme.

3Zero can only produce valks from Macross TV... what you can wish for is the Alaska Base green 1A that even Yamato during their heyday weren't able to get to (there was a prototype if I'm not mistaken).

In hindsight, yeah I'm kicking myself . but to be fair that was during a time when Yamato were churning out valks left and right from both MacTV and DYRL, and I didn't have as much cab space and disposable income back then as I do now.

That would be nice...with color-matched Fast/Super pack as well. An awkward third wheel at Max and Milia 1J social gatherings. 😆

Yet, even a green-striped 1J would scratch my itch. In fact, think someone once did a custom Hikaru 1J repaint in green stripe based on a squadron leader that may have been mentioned in canon, but unseen. Looked great to me, anyhow.

Yes, one hopes that can be addressed, of course. A money machine if they can milk that mold further...well, in Macross terms. 🤪

I certainly doubt they'll be pushing the license boundaries Toynami did - like releasing a strike valk while under the series license. Not that I'd complain...

Yeah, that too... Although I'm not really one to dwell on the unrealized value of any toy in my collection. And if I ever do sell anything, I just look to possibly get back what I originally spent and I would just as quickly spend the proceeds to buy something new to add to the collection. 

I've never really been a Max guy and back then I had to choose between keeping my 2 1D trainers (one in F-mode or Gerwalk and the other permanently in battroid with those seat accessories), which, to this day, is my favorite VF-1 variant... or give one up and keep the Virgin Road. But if 3Zero decides to make one, then all will be right in the world.

IF I did have any kind of foresight back then, I would have invested in something, other than toys, that would make me filthy rich now  ✌️

I was looking through Ozzie Collectibles this afternoon and noticed that the Miriya VF-1J is now In Stock. So I placed an order and I should get it sometime next week. I am still waiting on my suppliers to get in the Max VF-1J.

Thanks! Just wanted to demonstrate the pose-ability of the threezero. The waist rotation and knee flexibility give a lot of interesting dynamic options compared to other VF-1Xs, especially in battroid mode. I like the sculpt of the DX and arcadias, but i'm not sure my arcadias could achieve these same poses.

Given the scale, you could probably take a shortcut and make a small adapter to plug the Arcadia posable hands into the wrists.

Style wouldn't really match, but we've never had posable cartoon hands to begin with.

I would settle for smaller DX articulate styles even those aren’t cartoon accurate. Or maybe even a hole in the right fist 1/55 style. 😁
