Old_Nash Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Godspeed Sir. My first James Bond's actor I saw http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-40018422
Seto Kaiba Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 He will surely be missed. His tenure as James Bond was an incredible one.
mog_kupo Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 May he rest in peace, first Bond movie I saw was the Man with the golden gun and I tought Bond was the coolest thing ever
TangledThorns Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Same, my first James Bond film was For Your Eyes Only. I think it was Moore's best film too. Very thrilling seeing it the first time when I was really young, had no idea who James Bond was till I saw him on the screen for the first time.
derex3592 Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 damn...right in the feels with this one. ..He was the Bond I grew up with as well. Sad day. Rest in peace 007!
Dynaman Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 He may not have been the "best" Bond but he was the perfect Bond for the seventies. RIP
M'Kyuun Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Ironically, he disliked guns, and violence in general. But, yeah, he was perfect for 70's and 80's, and really kinda became the trademark for gentleman spies in all forms of media. Alas, another beloved star gone.
spanner Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Dang! The losses just never stop.. liked many of him films. RIP James Bond.
Sildani Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Godspeed, Commander. Moore was a gentleman and he wil be missed.
Mommar Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I suppose the thing about him that was so special was the fact he could be massively hammy but still come off as suave. Most people who try to pull off Schlock come off like Austin Powers but Roger Moore always had a class and dignity about it.
spanner Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 My fav Bond movie! Yeah it was kinda cheesy but it had space shuttles and lasers so it was super cool!
Graham Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Grew up watching Roger Moore's James Bond movies. He will be missed.
Valkyrie Hunter D Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Just like others on this forum, I too grew up watching him as Bond. Thank you for the great memories Sir Roger Moore. I came upon a story regarding Moore and a young fan yesterday. It says a lot about his character.
