I was just thinking "How big would a 1/1800 be?". I measured my Matchbox 1/3000 and it's about 17" tall. x3000 equals 51,000". Divided by 12 gets you a 1:1 scale of 4250 feet. Agreed.....I am still waiting for a KO 3 ft "super sized" version of the chunky monkey.....they did that with the Optimus Prime......why hasn't this happened with the VF-1?! A similar mega-sized Chunky Monkey version would be both relatively affordable and "high quolity"! Wish I knew someone close to some of the 3P companies to see if they would pass off the idea. I am not 100% sure, but I think someone on the boards was actually trying to do such a project a long while back. I think he was going for all metal.....not sure if he ever finished that project. I am sure it would be an easy project for someone with the skills in 3D modelling software, just copy the individual 1/55 parts and super-size them to the desired scale.
