Negotiator
I don't think the games suck. I've played 1 and 2 all the way through. It's got a big story. The main plus side to this news is Fassbender!

Dynaman
From what I saw the games were quite good, but they would make TERRIBLE, Hackneyed, movie plots.
anime52k8
>snip< Yeah, that's was totally mature/called for. *blocklisted* Anyways, I'd wait until a director is announced. AC has a very good story and a wonderful art style, I can see it being boiled down to a very good film. What's going to make or break this is budget and having the proper minds behind it. I'll be honest though; I like Michael Fassbender, but I'm having a hard time picturing him as a Altair or Ezio. :edit: Actually, The First AC could be a lot better in movie form if done right. You could have all of the excellent story, visuals and cinematic fight scenes without having to go through the same 6 investigation tasks over and over and over and over for 9 strait missions. mechaninac
I want to be proven wrong, but this has all the hallmarks of ending up as another Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
mikeszekely
The article suggests that the movie will be set in the AC universe, but will be a new story with new charcters. That seems like a smart move to me, depending on Ubisoft's involvement.
JB0
But will it have invisible faces? That's pretty much the second-most iconic feature of the franchise at this point, after "assassin in a hooded cloak"

Silverstreak
So, question: will there be scenes of him climbing up various objects and walls when he doesn't actually mean to? Or will he jump in random directions to his death from extremely high objects?
Big s
Will he ever open a door? I think that's the important question.
TangledThorns
The trailer looks good but from reading recent posts it looks like a good thing I didn't play the game
Tking22
crap music choice, I mean, that's just bad. Or will he jump in random directions to his death from extremely high objects? No he'll quit half way through because he gets stuck doing another tail the target/follow mission...
