Well, Zappan is still alive. It wouldn't be a bad thing to have him as the bad guy in the second film... The question is, how would they end it? The original book ends with the space-station side of Zalem turned into a Flower...

but the goings on of Last Order.... seems way too political and complex for a 3rd movie (a multi-year Netflix show, on the other hand?)

And other than the visuals, I did not like Avatar at all.😁 I wish he had stayed focused on Alita rather than handing it off, then maybe Battle Angel would have already had a sequel by now.

Just what I'm thinking! At least de-aging the characters will be easy. Rosa Salazar will be, what, fifty?

I am glad to see an update, but I am also frustrated by the update. Stop giving us updates and just tell us filming is going to start!

From what i remember, the eyes were actually bigger but got reduced a bit for the final cut. 
I hope #2 happens.

I'd love another film, the first one was great. Loved the eyes too, worked for me and looked great, wouldn't have the same personality without them IMO, helps sell the non-human other-worldliness of Alita.

Which is weird. I understand Cameron wants to do more Avatar movies (IDKW), which is why he left Battle Angel Alita to Rodriguez, so what has Rodriguez been doing all this time..?
