    I just saw this on YouTube last night & the animation is really well done, surprisingly this was not made by a Japanese company. I wasn't sure where to post this though it is considered a "Short Film", so Mods, do your thing if this belongs somewhere else.

    I just paid for mine, I almost forgot I PO'ed this "Not Jetfire" VF-1 forever ago... and now the waiting game for delivery.

    It's possible with the constant increase in production costs not to mention a factory with solid QC, Sentinel is probably still weighing in if it's worth it or not to build a Tread. I have a feeling that despite those who really want one, the inevitable price tag will scare off the majority. I'm still wondering if Sentinel will take on a Dark Legioss/Shadow Fighter one of these days, not to mention a matching Ride-Armor.

    I'm starting to feel relieved I passed on this Valk, I love the VT-1 but broken stabilizers out of the box & other QC issues on this thing... and I agree with @Chronocidal on this Valk & the DX YF-21 with its QC issues too, luckily mine didn't have a broken antenna/head laser but it does have other fit problems, not acceptable at such prices. I'm glad I have my two YAMATO VT-1's, with the shoulder replacements, they're rock solid & no exploding parts.

    Yeah, I saw that first listing last night while browsing Mandarake and it showed in stock, in the time it took me to login into my account, it then said SOLD... that was super fast!

    While getting a Macross Toy license might include a few hoops to jump through, it would be nice to see these other companies attempt Mac Plus or Mac Zero designs (even if they have to slap a RT or HG label on the side). That's where my $$$ would go.

    Not a fan of that design and yeah, just one too many VF-1J's coming out. So many other Valkyrie designs out there.

    Can you explain what's happening with Daemon, I have some thoughts, but a little clarity would be great. Does the Weirwood tree have something to do with it?

    Yeah, that elbow joint is an odd choice but not the worst thing ever. Is the VF-1S with Roy or Hikaru piloting?

    Just shows how posable it is. This VF certainly looks stable and rugged. Fighter mode is pretty good, but I actually like Battroid the best!

    In the mid 90's my local 20/20 Video had this movie plus Project A-ko, Bubblegum Crisis, Gunbuster and handful of other classics. I was so lucky the manager was an Anime fan and kept as many titles handy as he could. I miss those days, getting some Chinese take-out & renting VHS Anime films.
