    I am so all over the special box set - I NEED Flashback 2012! The game footage on the hybrid disc looks awesome too and it looks like you may actually get to follow the movie's storyline a bit.

    Is $200 reasonable? That was what I paid for each and it looks like they're going for that price again after being under $150 shipped awhile ago. Still totally worth it since they're so beautiful.

    After selling off my 1/48 Low Viz and Stealth with Strike Parts, I finally found a space to display my remaining 1/48 Valkyries.

    They're from the Bandai 1/250 scale Macross Fighter Collection. Saw 3 from a seller on eBay and bought one and liked it so much I bought the last 2 from him too. They were pretty marked up but I love the VF-4 so much I just closed my eyes and clicked "send payent".

    Still miss seeing Don's work in Transformers comics but this is definitely interesting news. I'm curious to see how many stores will carry the line and what the price point will be.

    If you're gonna throw it up on eBay, I'd just list it at $300 and see what happens. The fold booster with fast packs alone still sell for about $70 I think and the YF-19 probably around $175 but people seem to like the combined box sets which makes me think you could ask for a bit of a premium even though it's technically used.. I sold my 1/48 Stealth with Strike/Super Parts and Low Viz for $300 and $280 respectively though it took a couple weeks. There was a ton of interest and I didn't know what to ask for it though I did know what I wanted for them. If it doesn't sell initially, just drop the price slightly until it sells. This is assuming you're willing to let it go and that it doesn't sell for under what you want for it.

    The explanation to Darth Maul's return is gonna be interesting to say the least. If he was able to survive the death we saw in Episode 1, why couldn't any other fallen Jedi do the same (is the Dark Side really stronger?). I'm expecting to see some kind of reincarnation story from a Marvel comic to explain this.

    I feel your pain about opening your toys. For years I was a MISB collector and would just buy 2 if I wanted to open it. Getting married didn't stop this practice though my wife's eyes would always roll from it. But with the birth of my 1st daughter a week ago, I've been mentally preparing to open all my Macross stuff to make more space for her (as if cleaning out my original toy room wasn't enough). Thus, this weekend I'm opening all my remaining 1/48's since I sold all the good stuff like the Low Vizs and Stealths. Can't wait to see what you do!

    Had my eye on an Alto reissue on eBay from a US seller for $265 shipped...and someone else bought it. DAMN! Maybe this just means I should be throwing down on an inflated YF-29...

    Damn, if you could find display cases big enough to hold your boxed toys that would be awesome. The IKEA cases a lot of members here use will only fit a few of your smaller boxed items. You can go online and search for companies that sell display cases (it's not too hard to find but if you customize it it can get pricey) or find a store that's going out of business and see if they're selling their fixtures. Of course, if you have a handy friend like me, you can give him the specs you want and have him build it.

    As much as I would LOVE to see Mospeada toys from Yamato, I'm pretty sure this is one of those times where you can say "it'll NEVER happen."

    I agree that The Motion Picture was pretty close to how Gene wanted to Star Trek to be, which is why it was boring. We'll never know how Phase II would've been but at least the group from startreknewvoyages.com is slowly (and I mean slowly) giving us an idea of what the rest of the 5 year mission could've looked like.

    Animated was definitely more fun to watch and the G1 homages were awesome. Prime looks great but I feel that the writer's attempt at making the series more serious is also making a bit lackluster though I'm definitely happy with it overall. Toys from both series are great and much better than all that Armada/Energon/Cybertron series nonsense though I still think boxart from Armada/Energon was the best we've seen since the overall G1 boxart.

    I'm sure they'll have a Voyager sale soon like they did with the deluxes last week to help move out all their product. You would think TRU would do some type of competitor price monitoring thought to help bring their prices a little closer to their competition even if it's not the same or cheaper.

    I'm so against these "digital copies" that require internet connection to be watched. When WB started their Ultraviolet copies I thought you could easily watch it "anywhere" as stated on the package. After complaining to them they sent me an iTunes gift code so I could purchase a real digital copy. Back on topic though, I also purchased the Prime Blu-Ray set from amazon.com since I figure no one could or would come close to their price. It should be arriving any minute. It's sad that this release isn't getting more recognition from Target as I'd figure it'd be a great way to unload some of the Prime toys so that maybe some kids would help thin out the sea of Bumblebee and maybe even the left over DOTM stuff so that we'd get more new product as most of the stores in my area are pretty lacking in Prime toys.

    I just heard a rumor that the next deluxe case will AGAIN have 3 Bumblebees in it. The guy that told me is also a Hasbro share holder and said retailers believe they need more Bumblebees on the shelf for brand recognition. Seriously? Guess they never walked past the Transformers section when DTOM was the primary line. Good news about the Voyager revision cases though.
