Still have no idea why there's such a drought of high quality Macross figures from the likes of Megahouse or Alter. Bandai does have a stranglehold on the recent Macross licenses, but those aforementioned figure makers are owned by Bandai, if I'm not mistaken.

Arcadia really needs to reissue these because there are still a bunch of people who want them and I need replacement shoulders! Bonus: flying through the galaxy's furriest asteroid field. -
Gonna have to ask spanner for the other modes. My VT-1 is one of the earlier releases with the rainbow canopy but also cracked shoulders. Instead I finally got my two-seaters mounted together. Incidentally, my VE-1 also has a rainbow canopy but no cracked shoulders.

Received the open box 1S from Amiami. Still looks brand new and everything. Just missing the gunpod as stated on the website. Luckily I have a spare. Great price for a 1S with strike parts.

Got around to transforming mine. Had to handle it like a newborn. Stressed a few parts and snapped that damned head antenna again. Transformation involves some parts to be removed and then reattached, like the forearm gatling guns. Didn't bother painting the inside of the opening sensor unit on the weapons rack (it's a swapping part) since this thing's going straight back to fighter mode permanently after this. Joints are not particularly strong, and it's pretty back-heavy, so I had to use a stand. It looks nice but I'm really looking forward to the DX release instead.

Well I did qualify my statement with "usually." For that price hell yeah I'll buy it from NY! Just hope nothing arrives broken. That's never happened with an Arcadia product before, right?

Well, YF-30 prices didn't really skyrocket till around the time Delta started airing. It came out 2 or 3 years ago. Hopefully, the overall suckiness of Delta will be mean more availability post-release.

It'll spell the end of my wallet if Bandai started releasing metal builds of classic UC mobile suits. Don't really care for any mobile suits past the Char's Counterattack era. -
For me, HLJ's lower shipping prices and private warehouse option more than offsets the usually miniscule price differences between retailers. I personally don't mind just having one big shipment every two months.

Unlike riding a roller coaster, serving in the UN Spacy does not have a minimum height requirement. -
If previous releases are any indication, then the proper VF-1 attachment will be bundled together with the future HMR Queadluun-Rau release.
