My ride is a semi-recumbent bike. It looks a bit unusual, but it's super comfortable and excellent at climbing uphill. Also, the seat won't squish your junk. -

This is all spanner's fault! Enjoyed Girls und Panzer way more than Delta (which admittedly is a very low bar) and decided I needed a tank too. There's a lot of parts that need assembly that I don't have time to put together right now. I also want to detail and weather it at some point, because it looks a bit plain out of the box. But definitely a huge and cool looking display piece! Max is always ready to fight alongside the Zentradi ladies. -
My big question is where's my 1/4 scale Ranka Lee?!

HMR fighter mode is going to feel like a big step down if you're coming from the 1/60 scale stuff. Fighter mode is where good engineering and production is really paramount, and deficiencies really show if they're not up to snuff. That said, it's still the best transforming valkyrie toy at this scale. Best to just enjoy them in battroid mode like I do, especially if you already have the 1/60 versions.

Hayate is a fool. Freyja is gonna look like his grandmother by the time she's 30. Whereas Mirage is from a very youthful line and will still be totally hot well into her 50s.

There are a number of things that can cause plastics to yellow, but the usual culprit is UV light. https://www.polymersolutions.com/blog/what-makes-plastic-turn-yellow/ Really the best safeguard against yellowing is to keep your stuff out of sunlight. Other causes such as the breakdown over time of the polymers in the plastic itself depends on the quality of the plastic used, and that's completely out of your control. My oldest valkyrie is the Yamato VF-0S and it looked kinda yellowed last I looked, but maybe that was always its color. I'll have to check again when I get home. No other valkyrie appears to have yellowed.

Would prefer Mikumo or Kaname myself. Though 1/4 scale seems ridiculously oversized for such a simple figure.

The first *good* Frontier DX release took about 3 years after the show finished airing.

"Seikou" is Japanese for sex (as in the act, not the gender). It also means success, which is why Seiko (the company) chose that name (for the double entendre).

Did a quick wash on my HMR Hikaru 1J since it looked really, really plain out of the box. I'd forgotten how much I dislike the HMR fighter mode (I've always left them in battroid since the first release). Going straight back to battroid after this. -

Need 2x of each! I really like the Super Siegfried battroid look. Too bad we barely got to see it at all in the show.

Picked up 2x of Keith's unit. Probably the only 262 I'll get more than one of. I'm not big on the other color schemes or the space pope head. Do the other Aerial Knights even have unique paint jobs? There was so little mecha in this show I don't even really remember what they looked like.

Man, the wedding episode was easily the worst animated episode in the series, which is quite an achievement given how terrible some of the other episodes were drawn.

Closed now, but was open for a couple of hours. Much longer than almost any Frontier valkyrie preorder and that was like the 5th or 6th time it's opened.

I've warmed up a bit more to the HMR VF-1 as subsequent purchases haven't been as shoddily constructed as the first one I bought. However, the microscopic TV pilot is a real eyesore on an otherwise nice toy.
