I bought a second set of 31J super parts on the chance that Bandai won't issue or bundle them with Hayate's knight version later on, forcing everyone to scrounge for them on the secondary market with huge markups. And it doesn't hurt to have another set when you already have 4 31s. I think Bandai opted for the weird frosted canopy too hide how the pilots have the consoles almost jammed into their chests. It probably played out like this: Bandai engineers: Hey you think the cockpit looks too cramped? Maybe we should revise it so it doesn't look like the pilot is hugging the forward console? Bandai middle manager: That's good enough. Send it for production. I want you to start on the next Gundam MB! Engineers: Oh! Gundam! Yes sir, right away! I would have preferred if Bandai gave us a nice transparent orange-yellow tinted canopy like the seen in the 1/72 model instruction manual. I know Bandai is perfectly capable of producing such canopies.

Those really do look nice. Not nearly 30k yen nice though. Wish Arcadia would just release one version with the printing at a more reasonable price and available at regular retail. Or just give us a sheet of decals, dammit! -

Those Max Factory models look great! But I know they'll need to be painted in order to look that good, so I'll probably have to skip them. I'm in for the Figuarts Walkure though!

Given the nature of Delta, I'm surprised they didn't make use of sound boosters more frequently so they could sell more accessories! Yeah if I get another Hayate valk it'll be his knight emblem version from the finale. Thank you, sir! LOL! It's a good thing I have some extras! The DX 31 toy is definitely superior to the 25! I really like the overall look of the 31, but I'm still liking the 25 more, though maybe I'm just influenced by the quality of their respective shows. But I do think the 31A is probably the best looking CF unit ever! It's the most cramped cockpit I've seen since the Yamato YF-19 and its overweight Isamu. Thanks noel! Kira!! I used a dark grey wash which ended up darker than I anticipated after adding a clear coat. I usually just draw in the lines with a mechanical pencil which works great for Yamato/Arcadia valks with their super fine panel lines. But Bandai valks have much thicker and deeper panel lines, so I just got lazy and used a wash. Black wash looks way too stark on a light surface, I think. Exploding consoles have never caused problems for anyone. Just ask any Starfleet officer.

Fighter and gerwalk mode pics. With that I'm done with this stuff for now. There are video games that require my attention! I'll check back periodically to see if spanner gets a 5th one. Don't know why I bothered adding an HUD. Can't see it through that crazy canopy tint. Whoops! Let's not remind people of a better show! This shot took an embarrassingly long time to set up.

Having the fold wave emitter (or whatever that thing is) and micro missiles crammed into the same pod courtesy of Tardis technology! Why aren't the supposedly more advanced Siegfrieds equipped with those?! I think I'm going to need 5 or 6 of those 31As... Edit: I think the missiles are being launched from the booster launcher.

Thanks! Gonna need a bunch more alpha stands for all the upcoming Delta valkyries. Thank you! Aside from laziness, I wanted to keep it as light as possible. I wanted to stay close to the clean CGI models and also they hardly saw any action anyway. It's so hard to find time do this stuff when you're at work all the time, isn't it? I've had mine for a month now. A more skilled individual with a bit more free time probably could you have done this in a couple days. My fourth was delayed by a few days as I added a few more items to my shipment. It's on the way now! Did yours arrive yet?

Well it was also very common for kids to lose the weapons too. I know that I lost all the weapons long before parting ways with this toy lol -

Probably the old Popy version, which was an amazing toy for its time. I had one too. My very quick and dirty 31J. Just did a wash and added some shading. Also painted in the shoulder sensors. That's pretty much it. Nothing fancy. The hard part was just trying to take anything apart because of Bandai's 'screw & glue' approach to these toys. Just battroid pics for now. I'll get some gerwalk and fighter mode pics after I fix something I totally messed up. That's one flexible battroid.

esthertool etc are all run by the same person/group. They've been discussed in the F/S section before. They can be sketchy. Sometimes you'll get your stuff, other times they won't send it and then make up some BS excuse.
