I would never ship an Arcadia or current DX valkyrie with anything below EMS or FedEx, because USPS is incredibly incompetent and they've lost SAL packages several times before and damaged a bunch of others. You might fair better if you live in a country with a more competent postal service. I'm thinking HLJ has some kind of bulk discount deal with Japan post, so they can offer better shipping rates. Though that makes me wonder why a large retailer like Amiami doesn't have a similar deal.

Just noticed there was a paint chip on one of the front red sensors. Not sure when it happened. Most likely happened while going to and from battroid. I was able to touch it up with a bit of Tamiya clear red paint. In any case, that's another potential area of paint scraping you'll want to be aware of.

AE carries them too? I wasn't aware of that. Definitely will keep them in mind when Messer's super parts are available for preorder.

Okay, now I'm aware of it. It's still a shitty policy and they're still a 5th rate retailer for me. How does this change that? The defense of NY seems to be "You should have known about their shitty policy. By knowing about it, it's no longer a shitty policy." It's not like I'm canceling my existing orders with them, and I never did the "order something as a backup then stiff them when I find it cheaper elsewhere." Frankly, I hardly ever order from them because of their inflated shipping costs, so excuse me if I'm not 100% aware of every single policy of every single web retailer in existence.

I coudn't find where it talks about splitting and combining orders. If it's relevant to this, can you provide a link to the NY page? As far as pricing, they might have a lower price initially, but that quickly disappears and is useless to anyone who couldn't get a PO in early during the PO madness. For me at least, any savings pretty much evaporate anyway due to their higher shipping costs. My 31J from HLJ only cost me 14400 yen, because of a drop of super glue on the nose cone (which I simply sanded off), so they gave me a 20% discount. Try getting that kind of customer service from NY. Customer satisfaction and goodwill are difficult to measure, but are way more valuable than the slight bump in convenience NY gets from refusing to add to my order. That's why they're like my 5th or 6th choice when it comes to buying from.

All they would have to charge me is the cost of an additional item and the difference in shipping cost due to the increased size and weight, which they have no problem doing on other orders, pay now or not. They don't want to sell me an additional item, then screw them. I'll just pick them up later on Mandarake or something if I want them.

Was thinking about buying a second super parts set and asked NY if I could just add it to my existing order. Their response: "We cannot modify your existing order." What kind of idiocy is that? Of course they can modify it. They just don't want to. Profiteering from inflated shipping costs. What kind of business says no to an additional sale?

Very fast and lucky, since there wasn't enough time for the FigInStock alert. I got an alert yesterday morning and jumped on it, but got cart jacked. It was probably spanner.

You're right, we do want a specific type of landing gear. Specifically, we want landing gear that aren't fugly and look functional, not shopping cart wheels. These landing gear are a way bigger eye sore than *gasp* a visible landing gear bay door on an aircraft.

I think Arcadia is just being more conservative with their releases to avoid Yamato's fate.

Their callsign numbers are different for the A and S variants. I'd rather have it printed on than use a sticker.

The toy does come with two different plaques. One is the original Japanese GoLion logo, and the other is the English Voltron logo. Voltron was of course heavily edited to meet 1980s censorship in the States (damned backwards country). I've been meaning to watch GoLion to see all the changes, but since I haven't seen Voltron in so long, I don't really remember anything and I would have to watch that again, and that definitely isn't going to happen. -
Future is super glossy so yeah those areas will be nice and shiny.

Don't tempt me into getting a 4th! Save the efforts for spanner! Awesome haul!! I already have super parts on preorder, but maybe I should get a second set because I really like the 31 super battroid... I probably cartjacked you! The magazine was only 600 yen. Might as well toss one in the cart on your next order! I think so. I haven't flipped through it yet. I'll open it and take some pics when I get home. I'm curious about their take on the Hulk. -

It was sitting there undisturbed for a couple of months. I came home earlier today and saw that my VF-19 was pointing upwards and saw the break. Must have happened while I was out. Sound booster does add a lot of weight to the VF-19 backside so I was probably pushing my luck with it.

My third VF-31J arrived from Mandarake. I think three is enough... Also saw this and added it to my order because it looked amusing. I'm sure it's not an officially licensed Marvel product.
