  1. You're welcome slick_bricks. Here's another one. More on the front shot.
  2. I don't have an actual 1/48 VF-1 Valk but I hope thru numbers I can help you. 1/48 VF-1 stands roughly around 26.4cm (or up) at the top of his head (lasers not included). DX VF-25F Renewal stands around 24cm at the top of his head. And a 1/60 VF-1 stands around 21.5cm at the top of his head. I did created a mockup via Photoshop from photo I found online and just duplicate the VF-1 and resize it to match a 1/48 figure height. It might probably dwarf the VF-25's since the VF-1's are more wider and chunkier looking than the VF-25's which are more sleekier and slim looking. Anyways, hope that helps.
  3. HobbySearch also posted their PO page List Price: Y35000 HobbySearch Price: Y31500 US Price: $262.79 (2014-12-03 Conversion Rate) Late March 2015 Release So far, AmiAmi has the good PO price. If that happens, I just hope Arcadia will not charge Y35000 something for it too.
  4. Thanks for the welcome, Ignacio Ocamica. You know what, if they were only cheap, I rather have extra ones so I don't need to transform it everytime. But I think that's the fun part of this figure -- the complex transformation. Though I wish they did it somehow like in the lineart that the front part separates from the body so we can redo/repose the figure like the artwork when the rider detaches from the armor. Hopefully, the next company (in the future) who will tackle this figure will incorporate those.
  5. I just hope the yen will still remains by March. I want to wish that it will go down more. But if ever that happens, we know that it's not good, economy-wise. Anyways, I made this mock-up via Photoshop to see how big the figure standing besides our most loved collection -- the 1/60 v2 VF-1 Valks. I searched for a proper shot that resembles somehow the angle the Orguss photo was taken. So I found this VF-1S Hikaru valk photo. Photo 1. The 1/60 scaled VF-1S stands about 21.5cm I believe up to the top of his head. Let's assume that the 18cm height mark of the Orguss is also by the top of his head. That height rest somewhere between the black and red stripe on the VF-1S chest. Which IMO, it looks good together. And looking at it, I feel like I want to hit the PO button ASAP since it favors on the Valks I want to collect, light colored (white) Valks that has black and red stripes. Photo 2. I blow up the 1/60 scaled VF-1S to match the height of a 1/48 Yamato Valk. And that's somewhere I believe around 26.4cm(?). Please correct me if I'm wrong. Now based on this photo since the Orguss is mentioned as a 18cm figure, that's roughly around 1/48 scale based on tech spec of the anime show. Now standing besides the 1/48 Valk it shows how small the cockpit is. Funny since the figure is not anime or line art accurate but it's just something they redesigned to make the Orguroid proportion. Which IMHO, it looks great. Btw, I'm not complaining here. It's more like mentioning what I noticed based on the size given. Overall, I really do like the size if it's going to stand and displayed besides my 1/60 scaled red and black striped VF-1S/A Valks. Now, all I need to think about is if the price is really worth the size. Edit: Oh, how I wish the arm can also raise up like this.
  6. I assumed the previous owner must have put the pilot inside the cockpit. I also searched the web and found nothing that says a variant was produced with a pilot inside. I also checked jenius review site anymoon.com and found nothing or mentioned that there was a reissue or re-release with a pilot inside. So best guess would be the previous owner must have put the fig inside. Unless other members say otherwise. Hope that helps. Question time again: For those of you who customize their 1/48 or 1/60 valks, what's the best site/website to use for custom waterslide decal? That has also an option for white ink? Thanks in advance.
  7. Ok. After seeing this image, I just know I need to add it here... Now, who would hate something like that?
  8. Thanks anubis20. Same expectations from Bandai, huh. Ok, I'll prep my screwdrivers and rubbers then just in case.
  9. More photos from TagHobby. Box Art sans the text and logos. Love the artwork on this one. Wish I could find a little bigger for wallpaper. Edit: I didn't know this link has been posted before. Sorry guys. But still that box art is gorgeous.
  10. Thanks for sharing valhary. That's what I do on my Alto's '25 and Isamu's '29 so the back and chest is properly locked. So I assumed that's the 'correct way' and not the 'plate in line resting on the shoulder-way'? I think it's the same way anubis20 did. Shoulder plate is more towards the back than resting straight on the shoulder area. Btw, are all the joints on this reissue is tight compared to the first release? Thanks.
  11. I know I'm a late bloomer here when it comes to Mospeada Beagle figures. But I did have my share of having kits before back in '84 of old Arii/Imai kits back in Japan. But all is gone now. So when I got the chance of getting this one off eBay for a good price, I didn't expect that I'm going to have a perfect quality toy even though it's not anime or line art accurate, I still love it. Too bad the line is dead. It would be nice though if Beagle/Toynami just finished the line with Fuke and Yellow thru made-to-order web exclusive before shutting it down. But having this (Stick is on its way, btw. Which I also got it for a good price.) is totally worth it. Hoping that the Stick figure that I'm waiting for still has good condition on the fabrics. If not, then I guess I need to open it up and look for better fabric to replace it. Now, here is Ley waiting by the door for his playmate Stick...
  12. Good for you technoblue. I'm still undecided if I will click the PO button. Still have lots of paying to do up to early next year to add this one now. Btw, what's the rep of AmiAmi when it comes to cancellation? I haven't cancelled anything with them yet so this is my first time if ever I dive into this PO splunge. I know they don't accept cancellations but do they lock your account if ever you didn't pay your PO the first time around? Also, are you going to check currency update prior of March just in case Yen will get strong again by next year? If so, are you going to pay immediately once you found out that it's going up again?
  13. I know that. I'm just looking for an easy way and for not to mess up the whole figure as possible. Meaning, I still want to keep the yellow still if ever I changed my mind in the end. So I'm considering the magic of plasti-dip for the stripes. So I'm still searching for reviews and whatnot using the said substance.
  14. Well, in short, it's business. It's how they make money. It's how they run it. It's where they get fundings to pay for their business expenses such as online services, server, IT's, webmasters, clerks, admin, cleaners, 'packers', and not to mention the owner's pocket.
  15. AmiAmi already posted their PO page List Price: Y37800 AmiAmi Price: Y29860 US Price: $249.53 (2014-12-03 Conversion Rate) Late March 2015 Release Pre-painted Complete Posable Figure Size: Approx. 18cm Set Contents: -Main figure -Display base [First Release Bonus] -Special booklet (8 pages) With the current conversion rate, I'm glad it's not $300. Though that price posted were before S&H. Guess, we just need to use Registered SAL then to save a few bucks. And for sure, this is sub par than the Palm Action thingy which goes about $199 over eBay. I just need to study and justify the Y35000=18cm ratio. Oh well, need to close my eyes again...
  16. Cool! That's great to know. No rush though. We have all the time in the world. Good to know that you're going to base it using the GN-u Dou's figs. It's the best proportion out there, IMO. Now... find that toy! j/k
  17. True. But would it be cool and perfect if everything are tampo printed by Arcadia? They're valks are gorgeous looking. Too bad I can't afford everything.
  18. Question guys: How big is the Nendoroid Minmay? Same height as the included SD VF-1's? Thanks!
  19. Thanks Saburo. But seriously, I really don't know how to do it. Don't want to mess up everything. Last resort would be Photoshop magic. It's our little secret. Good news David. It's already in LA customs based on the last tracking (Dec.1). Hopefully by Friday, it will be here in NorCal. Just in time for my personal holiday.
  20. Cool! Thanks Saburo. Can't wait to put Alto's Armor on him. I need to plan soon on how to change the yellow stripes to red without using Photoshop.
  21. Hey Kurisama, I voted for the 21/22 new feet, ankle, etc. Even if it's just for the 'twisting-exploding-inner-thigh-parts' only.
  22. I see. Last time I used Registered SAL with them, it took like almost two weeks. Anyways, thanks. I guess, it's just that 'season' again. Oh well, I just hope it will arrive by friday. By the way, does Ozma comes with an extra pair of head lasers? Thanks.
  23. From TagHobby. So it's made of ABS, Diecast, and POM. Y35,000 is not a typo after all.
  24. Congrats everyone on their Ozma purchase. Great photos as well. Hope I could join you guys again in posting here once my Ozma arrives.
