As per first post on Page 1, this thread is for COMPLETED and SOLD Macross items only. If the sale is still open, it's best to post it in the 'Where to Buy' section: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showforum=13

I'm IN! Didn't know there was a separate thread for this. Hahaha!
-
Reactive Armor? Yes! Bring it on, Arcadia! Woohoo! My bad. Didn't notice that there was a separate thread for this.

It's ok, Spanner. I mean, if you're still on the fence on this one, you can still PO and then cancel later if ever they decide on putting out more photos before release. Go with HLJ on this one for easy cancellation. Right now, for me, besides the comment I posted earlier is I have a feeling that it will be awhile before we see another decent VF-2SS in 1/60 scale. Like Graham said earlier, he bugged Yamato for a long time to do a VF-2SS. And coming from their mouth, they recognize that Macross II is not as popular to make them. And I have a feeling that they will just produce a quantity of numbers based on the preorders. Well, here's to hoping on a decent VF-2SS in the future. Or any valk from the Macross II.

Congrats on the Perceval Valk, guys.

Yes I am. There will be regrets for sure if the figure is not great looking but there's still the satisfaction of owning a VF-2SS. I never own one even the old model kits, even resin kits. I know I'm not a big fan of the anime series but I do like the Valk design of it. I know it's hard to compare it to the big two. But I will give them a shot. I just hope that in the future they will release a SAP pack.

Well, who am I to resist Hikaru in 1/6 scale, right? And besides, it's not a wrong direction to buy anime dolls esp if it's as hot as Sheryl, right? As long that you're collecting it and just displaying it, that's fine. Now if you're going to buy it and use it for 'something else', then there's something wrong with you. Buying an anime dolls, doesn't label you as 'perv'. It really depends on one's motive. If I have lots of money, I will also collect every variants of Sheryl, Ranka, and Minmay just to satisfy my Macross love. Just saying. And also saying that actions figures are just dolls for guys, is like saying toys is just for kids. I think it's safe since I bought the Hikaru figures from them directly. They're prompt and they replied to my emails, so I guess it's ok. And yes, there's no paypal so I used my credit card directly. Hope that helps. If you're on a fence somehow, just buy something that has a small amount just to try it. However, you can still complain to your credit card if ever. Yup, the light up one, you can't remove the helmet. Though you can open the upper part from what I've read. But the lower part and the face are glued together somehow because of the LEDs.

I don't think it did. I could be wrong though. But imagine from $120+ to $44+. That's why I bought both normal suit and pilot suit. And here's another one. The exclusive pilot suit that lights up, it goes up to $200 over at eBay. On their site right now, it's $49+. Just saying. I'll probably mod my pilot suit that's why I didn't get the fixed helmet light version ($49+).

Thanks. Though I can't remember which shop does that when you pay credit card, they will charge you when the item is available. But when you use paypal, they will charge you instantly.

I honestly think too that it will take awhile before we see another company take stab at this Valk since Macross II is not as popular as the rest of the other series. But then again... if ever there's a Ver 2 for this one, I will still buy one. And robably, I'll be in my 50's when that happens.

Your most recent Macross or toy purchase! General thread.

If it's going to be as dark as this, it would be nice. http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/takeshi2005yukikaze/14362307.html Btw, pink is ok too. -
Me too. Me too. Go Troyness!

Cool. HLJ updated the page with photos since I posted the link last night. Nice.

I agree. Looks cooler when the wings are tucked in. Ala-Supersonic mode. I see. Do you use direct credit card or via paypal? Thanks Spanner for the info.

Great purchases everyone! @Mr Bomber Sorry to hear about that. But I really can say that the VF-171Ex CF color scheme really looks bad-ass compared to Alto's white. Are you going to keep it and just get the Alto later on? -
Hahaha! So who's next?

1/48+fp's, 1/60+fp's, 1/72, 1/2k, 1/3k,1/100 and now 1/144

And yet, leaves... in a hurry. Hehehe. Oh my... that VF-4G. Thanks MJ! Good too see you posting again. I was kind of away too...I think they are from a show called... Robo.. something... Robo? You mean, Roi30? Wait... Saburo, VF-4G is not featured in Roi30. Hehehe. -
Well, you must understand that it's a sample. Meaning the person who holds it could care less if he brakes it or not. Besides, look at us when we transform our collections. It takes 1 hour atleast just to get it right and done. If I were also the staff who does the transforming video, I'll probably do the same. We're on the clock here, people. Move!

There's a BIG chance it will, rasky. Look for example the Hikaru figure. I want to buy it last year, and surprisingly, the price on the figure is around $120+. And to think that it has a production run of 3000. But look on their online store now, and they selling it for $44.99-49.99. And good time to get it, which I just did 3 weeks ago. I mean, it's like how many people really bought from the initial 3000pcs since the figure came out?
-
That's true. I agree. It's not bad since I bought a lot of stuff now from NY and still have lots of PO with them. And so far, I haven't had any bad experience with them. And besides, at the end of the day, if you really want to secure one and it's not available anymore from your 'preferred' shops, you're still gonna end up ordering from them. Btw, Spanner, how's your experience with CDJ? Do you have to pay upfront when PO-ing? Great photo as always, Gundam@EFSF. No connection, eh? But you still got tempted even for just a minute. And I say, that's a good sign to order this. Hehehe. That's how I like my Isamu 29 too, Mommar. More sleek and fast looking. By looking at Gundam@EFSF's 29, I can say that I want that blue now for that sleek and fast look.

It's the shipping price and the rights, guys. It's the shipping and the rights cost to import it to Japan. Hahaha! And besides, it's not Macross that they're selling, it's Roi-30-tech. By the way, out of curiousity, since everything, I mean everything whether Japanese product or American product are shipped out from China's production houses, how come this one is double the price??? Please explain yourself, HG. They'll probably end up and built their own with Hasegawa's than having those HG Masterpieces. Hehehe.

HLJ is up as well. http://hlj.com/product/EVT57191/Act Went with HLJ for this one since the Evolution is new on making Valks. Just for safety precautions.
