Just noticed on the picture that the leg packs are somehow 'thin'-looking.

Great pics Renato. I might say that once you get the hang of transforming it back and forth, you're going to feel like you're transforming a VF-4G or the Mospeada Beagle figure. And I only found out this weekend that once you used those 'anime-accurate' added parts, it really helps a lot. I find that Gerwalk and Orgroid is the best mode for this figure. Wish I really have lots of money so I can buy another one. But for now, I really wanted to see an Orguss 2 or Olson variants. I guess, it's a possibility since most stores are already sold out. Nippon-Yasan already increased the price to Y36000 something. And some scalpers are already increasing the prices via auction. Here's to hoping. Yeah, even those famous japanese toy bloggers such as Hachakka and Schizo hasn't put any. Guess it's not their cup of tea, eh.

Great purchases guys! -
You're welcome verCo. Glad to be of help.

Thanks dapro. Will check that over the weekend. I did mentioned on our renter's insurance that I have Hot Toys figure and they've include that as well. Will check your recommendation if it's cover more. Want to add my Macross Valks as well.

Yup. Same sentiments of everyone here since Page 1. We're hoping somehow a cut of Y5000 or Y8000 from 0D's MSRP. I guess, the price has something to do with 'fixing-the-diecast-joint-and-not-to-use-half-metal-half-plastic-from-VF0D-and-tell-people-that-it-cost-money-to-revise-it' this time. Oh well... here's to hoping.

Ok, since a lot said 'don't want to count or add', next question would be is... for people who have 'home/rent insurance', did you guys declare the value of your collectibles to cover it?

Avengers: Age of Ultron, in theaters May 1, 2015
no3Ljm replied to azrael's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It's already on pre-order at SideshowToys since Monday or last weekend, I believe. And from what I understand, it's an exclusive release. Probably, only available at SideshowToys for overseas. And convention exclusive at Hong Kong. The only difference from the Iron Man 3 War Machine Mark 2 release, I think, is the new color paint, and a helmeted head sculpt of Don Cheadle. Which IMHO, the best Cheadle's likeness there is.- 398 replies

I agree technoblue. Like you said, the Megahouse Orguss has some problems and also expensive. And yet they delivered a good quality product inspite of some flaws. And the pricing nowaways, I think that's standard now. People are still gonna buy no matter how cheap and expensive the hobby is. Let's face it, there's no 2 to 3 companies that's making the same product at the same time. People doesn't have a choice. What's available out there is the only thing that we're going to get. Right now, we really can't say anything just by basing it on the picture. We see this, we see that. We notice this, and we notice that. Probably what's Evolution is doing here is give us a good looking fighter and at the same time a good looking battroid as well. In a world of transforming toys, we're not going to get a 'perfect' one even if we pay a lot of money. There's always going to be a 'limit'. Right now, let's just wait and see what the other 2 big guns wouldn't touch. Let's give EvoToys a chance. I agree also, Mr. March and ChaoticYeti. This is probably the only VF-2SS in 1/60 scale that we're going to get. And I'm happy that they're going to put some diecast in it. Not a big fan of MacrossII, but I'm definitely going to get this. It's 1J's color. And besides, in case people doesn't like it, sell it after. Right? But make sure you 'swoosh' it around first. It might change your mind after...

Cool! That means 0S will be released probably around Oct-Dec. I really don't mind if it's early next year. That means more time to save. Hehehe.

Perfecto! -
No official announcement yet.
-
They just recently announced those overpriced Alphas reissues, right?
-
Yeah. That's true also. It's better not to anticipate that there will be left overs. If there is, then order away.
-
This is something I don't want to talk about... it makes me realize how much I spent even though I just have a few VF-1's and each of the Red and Black stripes Valks. And realizing also that most of my Valks were purchased after the initial releases. Meaning 'after market' prices.

I don't think it's Lego, brouken. Probably it has something to do with HG. Though on the other hand, I like to see an 'official' Lego-released Kaneda's Bike. I know there's a manual from the Arvo Brothers. But atleast if it's official then you don't need to search and buy the individual pieces. Especially the hard-to-look customed shapes that you only get from buying Lego 'Character' sets.

Hope this helps from the YetiStand thread: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=41509&page=36#entry1181798 http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=41509&page=39#entry1184570 Basically, if you browse YetiStands' thread, you will see member's customize setup. If it's not so hard, I hope members next time who post their customize setup should mention what parts did they use for the specific setup so other members can get ideas on what to order... like me.

I hope so too Gakken. I don't have time to paint.

But... did Arcadia ever tried on getting the license in the first place? I mean, like how hard did Evolution Toy tried to get the license? Macross II in the first is just out there. And nobody wants to touch it. Guess, we have to wait on what Evolution Toy will offer. Besides, does licensing also expires in Japan? If Arcadia will see that this one will sell like pancakes, they might probably wait for the license to expire and get it for themselves and produce a highly one. Just saying. Like how differentiate the licensing over Arcadia's making the YF-19 and Bandai's making a VF-19Adv? They look exactly the same (unit-wise) except for the designation name/code and for the attached Frontier Boosters. Would Arcadia have the right on getting a license now on different VF-2SS model if there's any (SAP included)? Or licensing is limited only to where the designated plane was shown?
