  1. Welcome aboard w8kbrder! Hope you enjoy your stay here. Now to answer your question. Not sure if Arcadia will do it. But everyone here is hoping they do. And if that happens, we wish that it's going to have a good proportion somehow, esp the legs area during battroid mode. And still try to make it slick when in fighter mode. I know some people is not happy with parts-forming stuff but for me, I really don't mind if that's the only way to make it work. But if they can do it all and still make it perfect transformation thing, then they should and I'll be happy. But the downside of this for sure in the end, is the price. From re-doing the design, creating the molds, materials used, etc etc. It's probably going to cost us $400+. And that's just basing on the recent VF-0D release with a MSRP of Y36800. Anyways, here's to hoping and wishing. Again, enjoy and happy collecting!
  2. Cool. Same sentiments on the green/silver thingy. But I'm really bothered on that big dome looking thing at the back though. It doesn't have to be that big, right? Hehehe. By the way, when you get the chance to play around with it, can you give me your insight on the knee joints. Esp going to Gerwalk mode. I'm having a hard time bending it and somehow make it look equal (position-wise) to the other knee as well. It's a mix feeling of tightness and scared of breaking anything when I hold this toy. Hehehe.
  3. I hope so, M'Kyuun. If Arcadia will not do any more variants for the '19. Bandai on the other hand should do it and milk it. Aisha's Pink VF-19. The blue VF-19A. VF-19EF Caliburn. And ofcourse, I would love to see a VF-19A Nothung.
  4. I'll probably do the same with this bundle since I already have a regular VF-1J.
  5. Those are cool! Not as accurate but it looks cool. That's why I want to have those Pop Box as well, McFly. Esp the Flight Suit. The one that lights up the helmet. If I can't have a not-so-provocative Sheryl and Ranka, for sure I can get Hikaru, problem-free and excuse-free from the wifey. Hehehe. But probably later this year. Congrats dimension! Great hauls! Don't say YOU'RE DONE while browsing MacrossWorld. That's a big NO NO here. Hahaha! Just kidding.
  6. Thanks Valkyrie Hunter D. It was the Harrier. Thought it was a Phantom. But looking at it, I think the Harrier is the more 'humanoid' when it transform. More 'Macross-y' IMHO. You flip the cone towards the back revealing the eyes on the bottom part of the canopy and you flip the whole canopy forward becoming the head. And the intakes becomes the feet. And I agree, M'Kyuun. It would be nice to see newer planes with this line.
  7. How's your canopy, DarrinG? And also the thigh parts, do you have a slight gap as well in the middle?
  8. True that. Trust me, DarrinG, it's not gonna change. You'll be glad for sure that it's the right thing to do just by buying it. It's just the price...
  9. There you go, guys! Thanks jvmacross for the clarification. I didn't know those are existed. So they're bald or something. Did they come with the hair part? Congrats on your YF-29 resin kit.
  10. You're welcome bro. Glad to be of help. I also don't think Garyboy will have a hard time getting the whole set. Because if those are the Pop Box figures, then it's just Hikaru figures in Normal and Flight suit. I'm not so sure that even Roy and Max has been released. But let's wait for confirmation on those from other members if those are true.
  11. I used to have one of these back in '86. The green one on the top right. I believe that was F-4 Phantom. Correct me if I'm wrong. And that was only the available one back then from our local shop back in the Philippines. I'm already into Macross that time so I was hoping to get the F-15 since there was no F-14 available. So my mom bought the green one instead. Anyways, it was superb to have this before. Simple transformation. Didn't know that it was made by Bandai. If I'll get a chance to go home in the Philippines, I'll probably look for it and bring it back with me along with my other toy collections as well. Well, only the ones that's not crumbling by then. Hehehe.
  12. That's what I fear, actually. But if I just gonna buy one. And I only MEAN one... I'll probably go with VF-1S Minmay Guard to make it special.
  13. Would love to get a 1/48 VF-1S Stike in the future as a center masterpiece for my Macross collection since it's Hikki's Valk. But what I fear is once I started buying this, for sure I will also want his VF-1J as well. Then the list will go on and on...
  14. Cool! Glad to be of help. Looking forward to your pics, Garyboy
  15. I wonder why Hasbro didn't get Tulcas, the tank, from Dorvack. They already got Calibur as Roadbuster. Gazzette, the copter, as Whirl. If they do, then the whole Dorvack mechas are complete via TF toys.
  16. I like what he said on the last part... "Overall then this is definitely the nicest Orguss toy we have ever had and likely will have for a very long time. Mega House don’t do transforming toys very often but they have done a thoroughly great job here. If you are in any way a fan of Orguss or just classic 80s mecha design, then you owe it to yourself to pick this beauty up." - Cacophanus Ok, MegaHouse, time to announce when is the next release for Olson and OrgussII?
  17. I see. Not sure if Pop Box ever released Roy's figure though. I assumed it's limited if it's just sold during the 'fest. Would it be nice if the store clerks/owners let you have a peek first before buying it. Atleast you have idea now what Pop Box figs looks like. If they're the same then it's a repackaged one for the 'fest. Need someone to confirm this since I'm just basing on what I know and what I saw online years ago. Hope that helps Garyboy.

    Macross figures

Wow! NY price went up a bit from PO last weekend for about Y2000+ more. I was hoping that this is around like $60 a piece. Been wanting to have a decent and not so 'provocative' Sheryl and Ranka figs for so long now. But not sure though what to say to the wifey when she sees it if ever. Hahaha! Anyways, congrats spanner!
  19. DId you get a chance to peek what's inside? Does it look something like these? Uniform - http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/hikaru-review/popbox-hikaru-review.htm Space Suit - http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/hikaru-review/popbox-fshikaru-preview.htm If so, that's made by Pop Box. Released in 2006 (Uniform) and 2007 (Space Suit). And that's the only one sixth scale figure that I know of Hikaru that's poseable and wears fabric. The rest one sixth scale are old PVC kits. But by looking at the box, it's probably a different one sixth scale figure. Unless it was repackaged?
  20. Good thing I also PO'ed on this one days ago at AmiAmi. And they're still open just in case people still wants to add it to their collection. The white goggled Armored VF-1J.
  21. Let's hope that's the case since AmiAmi and CDJapan are the only ones that it's 'sold out'. The rest they're still selling it for SRP which is around Y35000-Y37000.
