  1. So how will your 'luck' kicks to get it 'announced' if you're not gonna buy it?
  2. Transforming Arcadia is more straight-forward than Bandai, Spanner. Arcadia doesn't have those collapsible thingies that Bandai have. E.g. the folding panels under the chest, and the folding leg covers. And it's more like a puzzle than Arcadia is.
  3. Sorry about that. Thought it was the leg colapsible cover. By the way, the whole back/spine of Arcadia's YF-19 were diecast. Whereas on the Bandai, like the bottom part that connects to the waist joint is only the diecast. But the one that connects to the chest/upper body is plastic.
  4. Nice. Didn't notice the reflections earlier. By the way, I was thinking of mounting it on the wall but retaining the lights still on the bottom (as the base) instead by the wall as backlit display. But the trick always is how to hide those cables.
  5. And also... no exploding triangles yet on the Maruyama one?
  6. Buy one now, Spanner, so that it well get announced soon. Better yet, buy another VF-4G so that it will get reissue.
  7. I think they're referring to the the VF-19Adv leg's colapsible covers.
  8. Wait... Alto also? Oh man, I have to check mine later.
  9. I guess, you really need to bend it back/straight it while it's in the point where it gets kinda 'gooey' feeling. That's what I did with some of my 1/6 figures.
  10. Wow! This is great for Robot Damashii and Figuarts. True True True. Or that VF-19 Advance in Gerwalk mode. My co-worker said Michael's sells something for a 12" version. Have to check it later if it's true. Perfect for those! So the 2nd photo were usd without the lid, correct? Since the light portion is used for back lit? But, yeah, this is good. If it could only be mounted to the wall. That would be nice.
  11. Or for safety, instead of using the blowdryer, use hot water first, straighten it by bending it counter to the initial bending direction. Cool it down with cold water once it's done. If that didn't work, then use the blowdryer method. And yes, you really need to heat it up even though it's a flexi plastic. Hope that helps.
  12. Lots of diecast on this one from the looks of it.
  13. Looks awesome! Count me in.
  14. Probably they're going to ask for the payment within the next couple of days. Right before the weekend for sure.
  15. After reading the previous posts regarding the cons of the Arcadia's YF-19, poll still says Arcadia's has the most vote at 41-36. Somehow, I'm curious to see who votes on what.
  16. It's not precise as 1/60 since Bandai never announced that the DX line is 1/60 scaled officially. It's a non-scale line but near since they're close with 1/60 Yamato/Arcadia releases. But take note that even Yamato and Arcadia's 1/60 scaled Valk is not accurate if you checked the actual size compared to the toy. And this is already mentioned in Jenius' anymoon.com website. Hope that helps.
  17. For those who still want an Ube colored YF-29, it's available yet again at CDJapan. Limit now is up to 3 per customer. Go grab a Ubercival now! Yum! http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOGDS-134477
  18. Wait, are we pointing fingers now? You posted the UBE colored Perceval first. Hahaha!
  19. Here's the thing now... I'm really liking the blue now as it is... But would I get disappointed if the color changes to grey upon release or not? Probably and maybe because I'm already planning to display it with the VF-0D together. But if it's going to be grey, then I'll be happy too. I'm still going to display it with VF-0D.
  20. Ok. After re-reading it, I noticed that the poll is kinda misleading now just basing on the answers. Title says 'Which is better overall?' Whereas the question on the poll itself states 'Which one do you like most overall?' Are we talking about personal preferences or which company delivers the most? Some likes Bandai due to its great engineering, poseability, tampos, up to the pricing. Whereas most of the guys choosing Arcadia, including me, likes the proportion and the collectibility of it without emphasizing how much the valk is. So yeah, I agree with Ignacio that it's a win-win situation and everyone is happy with their purchases whichever model it is.
  21. This is why I said I treat my Yamato/Arcadia Valks (Masterpiece class) with care. Build-wise, it's more on the display side of things. While the Bandai DX Valks (Voyager class) are meant for playing. Forgive me if I'm using Transformers toy terms here.
  22. Hahaha! It's Perceval's fault.
  23. Hahaha! And here I am waiting for you to explain it better to Spanner and now you also made me to want to eat Ube Halaya as well. Hey Spanner, promise us that you're going to try this. You're really going to like it. Esp if it's homemade.
