    I'm also wondering what "it does not turn out to be an issue" means. I'm speculating here, but if HLJ is going to fill orders on a first come, first serve basis, then perhaps they will try to fill all orders and offer those who bought multiples the opportunity to buy the one or to cancel their order?

    Oh well. I thought I would follow erikos and get a backup for hlj, but I was too slow. Anyway, I ordered early at hlj and I ordered only 1, so I think I should be safe...for now...

    If the Hulk/Banner had been lacking in the Avengers, then GotG would have been my favorite Marvel film. But I can't knock off those points because Mark Ruffalo did a great job becoming the character. I had my doubts when Ed Norton wasn't able to return to the role, but I was happy to be so pleasantly surprised. On a slightly different note, GotG is easily the best action sci-fi film I've seen so far this year.

    ^^Karen Gillan stole the heart of many a Whovian, and I enjoyed her performance in GOG as Nebula. The movie was incredible. It easily ranks as my favorite Marvel film tied nose to nose with the Avengers. The music, the easter eggs, the story... I went in knowing nothing about these characters and left loving all of them.

    Woah. Your alpha (prototype?) stand looks fantastic, ChaoticYeti! Will it come in clear plastic or will there be a choice of colors like for projects available on Shapeways? Also, how easy is it to assemble and adjust? And I apologize if my questions are answered in the video. I'm still waiting on youtube to view it.

    I thought something seemed funny in the paragraph I quoted above. It was eye catching news, but the last couple of sentences seemed contradictory and open ended. I'm glad to learn it was a rushed translation and that there is more hope here than sadness.

    And before the sour grape cloud, people were actually encouraged to help each other out by buying one or two extra to keep stock from the scalpers and to help out the community. I think it is way, way too early to say that this scenario created any victims. I think the 25S will be as easy to find as the 25F and the 25 Prophecy on release day. On to other things... Ebay will take a while to balance out. I think Mandarake and Yahoo Japan will keep better track of the price fluctuations. Having bought and sold items on Ebay since 2002, I'm not surprised that someone picked up a VF-25S for $405 USD. More power to them. I wouldn't do it, but I've seen it happen with my own stuff on the bay.

    Great news, erikos! I received my order confirmation the same day. It's nice that those who ordered multiples will be able to get their shipments too. So does this mean that hlj got a large order or that david is onto something? If the 25S is part of a new strategy to mass produce VF-25 Valkyries, then I hope they come with the same quality standards. Apart from that, I'm okay with it since it will make Bandai Valkyries easier to find.

    It seems Miyazaki and Takahata were a literal foundation for the company. I'm saddened by the change, but hopeful to see that all is not lost.

    Also, there is a major plot point that you may have missed between the time when Harlock was captain of the Deathshadow and when he became captain of the Arcadia. To say any more would require a spoiler tag.

    I've been admiring the box art on-line. It is exquisite. I look forward to seeing it in person. Sweet. Even with the changes to the English tracks, I thought the Macross Plus box set was a fantastic release.

    "Always in motion is the future." --- Yoda I never saw the hobby search reservation button. It went from discontinued to reservation closed after a refresh in my browser. Man, both that site and amiami were a real gamble that night. I agree with others in the thread about the armor parts: It would be very cool if Tamashii rereleased them. Even though it's never been done before, that doesn't mean it will never be done. Both Alto and Ozma are popular heroes. Well, that's my hope.

    You make a good point, Marzan. But there's something about the pilot suit theme that is just...fascinating. My overall favorite version of 2199 Yuki is MH's original color version with the white medical outfit.

    You're right and I totally got it wrong. Even after reading the print: "Hikaru VF-1J Grey Goggle Version" I need a better prescription. One that helps with my nearsightedness and confusion.     I love Jem. I still spool it up on Netfilx from time to time and nobody here at home thinks that's strange. I think more Robotech fans should start watching Jem and be happy. It's a simple equation. They would have their nostalgia and a new movie. Everyone wins.
