Better work fast, since there's fourteen hours, forty-four minutes, seventeen seconds left until ME2 is in my grubby little hands

Same here. I had ME and DAO on, so I didn't have enough enough room to install Prisoner of Stone expansion for DAO. I've watched Shale's comments on YouTube clips, though -

Question for all you savvy-types: I'm running out of room on my 360's HD, and I have Mass Effect and Dragon Age installed on it to make them (hopefully) run faster. Will un-installing them wipe out my savefiles? -
*points and laughs* I have three glorious days off, so I get to spend two of them playing ME2

B-but... I kinda enjoyed AVP:R It was an okay 'shut your brain off and watch the bangs' flick.

Much like FedEx's online tracking system, this will lead to pure insanity: *clicks refresh* Aww, still in Memphis. *clicks refresh* Aww, still in Memphis. *clicks refresh* Aww, still in Memphis. *clicks refresh* Aww, still in Memphis. *clicks refresh* Aww, still in ^*#(@ Memphis!

Worst science ficton book of all time.
CoryHolmes replied to Wanzerfan's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I 'unno. Probably instant ennui. Besides, I'm very selective in my chosen media. I enjoy very few TV shows/movies/books/anime/etc. but the ones that I do partake in, I take to the obsessive extremes. -
That's three words Have the developers made any indications which way they'll take the player community? Will it be WoW-like player politics or the aforementioned EVE-like player politics? I'm hoping for the latter, naturally.

I'm going to have to chime in here with a bit of an usual candidate: Snow Crash by Neil Stephenson. It has an enjoyable premise, mostly decent writing, entertaining characters, and pages upon pages of infodump infodump infodump! -
Has anyone encountered the Borg yet in this game? What function do they serve as far as gameplay goes?

Tsk tsk tsk. This is a Star Trek game; "billion" should be 10^6 times better. Or six orders of magnitutde better. Better polish up on your terminology...

You know, it's a little thing but it's been bugging me: is it just my imagination or do all the trailers portray Shepard as being ManShep? I mean, aside from one single voice-over from Casey Hudson during a behind-the-scenes look, there's been no mention of FemShep. Has anyone else noticed that and been bugged by it?

It's loading as I type this, so I will reserve man-tears only if there's some Ashley goodness in it. No Ash = no man-tears. And about that armour-dealie: good. Now I can rest assured that Subject Zero will at least have some decent armour. As it stands right now, she looks like a refugee from the Rob Leifeld School of Female Design. And that's not a good thing. EDIT: *lip-wobbles* Sniff. Not gonna... not gonna...

I've never played an MMO before and EVE is extremely tempting, though I've promised myself that I'll hold off until TOR comes out (next year?). But the more stories I hear about EVE's power struggles, the PvP that doesn't always involve ships and guns and lasers, and the player politics make me all the more determined that any game I play simply must have those. I hope to George Lucas that SW: TOR has those, because that sounds like fun

And seriously, anyone thinking the A Team movie would be an R-rated bloodfest a la Rambo really needs to have their head examined. I just hope it isn't as cartoony as GI Joe was, but I'll accept a goofy fun movie based on a goofy fun TV show.

*spoiler* *spoiler* *spoilier* *spoiler* *spoil-SPLAT!* Oww! Where did that mod-hammer come from? I thought the same thing, too *nods*. Then I saw the first character reveal trailer and went, "Oh Em Gee... gotta watch it all now!" and have since been thouroughly spoiled. But, this being a Bioware game, I have no doubts that there are more than a few twists they haven't let free just yet
