    All the love for his mount, but no love for Ozma personally?! Dunno if he's my favorite, exactly, but he certainly has my respect for getting things done no matter what it takes, and his deep love for Ranka. He's one of the few characters in Frontier I DIDN'T want to slap, how's that?

    There she is... my pretty girl. Also included is a sticker sheet for different modex numbers. Unfortunately, your only choices are 102 and 302. I can confirm the clear green canopy is included. Also, the horned head is attached out of the box, the normal head is in a Baggie. Head lasers are hard plastic, no rubber ones are included. Perfect paint on mine! A little disappointed there's no turbine detail. But loving her anyway! EDIT: My prayers were answered! She comes with two pilots; one generic one in a Baggie, and one installed in the cockpit! Aaaand... it's Grace!

    Holy crap, my 27 just showed up! From Osaka to Virginia in 2 days! EMS is no joke this week! Huh. Plain brown Tamashii shipper box AND a full color inner box. Nice.

    Yes, I think that's what happens. Brera can "see" through the armored canopy because as a cyborg he's directly wired into the 27's sensors. That's a CG representation of the outside. When he breaks contact, he loses that ability, so the armor comes off and he's back to using the Mk 1 eyeball.

    Yeah, it's supposed to made of Unobtanium and then painted, so I appreciate the uniformity. I wish this came with the fold booster like the V1 did, or a Grace pilot figure. Oh well.

    Lovely. I suppose after the kinks are worked out, they'll put spats, or even trousers, over the undercarriage. I didn't see any provision for retractable gear. Didn't look too bent, either. Good piloting.

    Looks like the green color is much more consistent across the board. The old one had different shades of green across various parts. Very good.

    No, I actually paid for her a couple weeks ago. I was just curious in case it had been pushed back. Thanks all! Kinda weird though. Usually people are in a froth to report payment requests. I suppose this 27 won't be too popular.

    There's always the Hot Toys 1/6 scale Falcon for those who want larger representations with more detail. Yeah, these are for kids. Just like the first ones were in the 70s and 80s.

    I think VF-24 is a fair designation, there's undoubtedly a few emigration fleets and planets who saw the mass released YF-24 design (shareValk?), said "Perfect!" and went directly into pre-production/mass production. Save time, save money by not reinventing the wheel, so to speak. In fact, if Macross Delta takes place on another fleet other than Frontier, it may be the VF-24 that's the CF/mass use type of the show.

    I finally figured out what the paint scheme reminds me of: Japanese F-2 attack aircraft. That price is amazing too. Must remember I only collect CF's. And prototypes.
