Box art by Temjin would be incredible. I hope it happens.

New(?) pic from Mr. K's Twitter. Is it just me, or do the wing landing lights look like they're painted white? Were they transparent in Yamato's version?
-
Hey! A windscreen!
-
Ok then. I'm in for one.

Very nifty. Be funny if it turns out to be a VF-9.

The Russians have started airstrikes. Bet you every major intelligence agency will be watching them carefully to see the aircrafts' real world performance.

Macross Δ (Delta) - announcement thread

Confirmed. It's the Siren. Macross II doesn't look too awful much like Macross as a whole, either. That's what might be throwing you.- 2715 replies

Are those MiG-23s or 27s further down? There's a lot of them.

Macross Δ (Delta) - announcement thread

From Tochiro: The white and blue valk is a logical progression on Valkyries seen to date. The 'Draken' valk is an all original transformation. - Kawamori So no, probably a 30 variant.- 2715 replies

The 27's engine nacelles are kind of slender, but I'm willing to bet there's more than 12 micro-missiles in there. Perhaps 30 per nacelle. The engine can go in the bottom, where the intake is, and the missiles can be stored wrapped around the 35mm gun and its ammo. Sound reasonable? Edit: the nacelles are also really long, more than half as long as the Lucifer itself.

^ What I was thinking. At that price, it's just about worth it to roll the dice.
-
What's the going price, out of curiosity?
-
It would depend on the kit. Most modern fighter kits have afterburner baskets that are fairly close to the exhaust nozzle. Not too awful much room. Still, there's space there. So one rod straight in per exhaust, and a "tray" directly beneath to hold the bottom rear fuselage. Through cantilever action, the tray and the rods keep everything together, and most of the fuselage is clean. Try it on a 1/60 VF-1 as proof of concept, its exhausts are quite long, if you like.
-
So, those of you who have the old Hi-Metals and a new R: is there any difference in proportions, panel lines or anything between them?
-
How about an acrylic piece that can hold either one or two acrylic rods, with a mechanism that can slide the rods closer or further apart from each other? Tighten the rods down, slide them into the jet's exhausts and that might hold 80% of the jet fighters out there.

Caught this flying over Dulles this morning around 10:30. It's a very cool plane, very sorry I couldn't get a better shot. In case you can't quite make it out, it was an Airbus A400M.

Great pics Saburo! Thank God I got my 27, I'd be eating my heart out if I hadn't, then seen those pics! -
It's considered "likely" because Arcadia has the Yamato molds, and because of their focus on Zero designs. I wouldn't expect it before 2016 though.
-
Hopefully, the Arcadia version can hold that pose tightly. I want it.

Seeing as how the 25 uses electromagnetic actuators to transform and move the various things, mechanisms aren't even supposed to be present. Since the toys have to use mechanical means, they're automatically less anime accurate, which should irritate some people. We'll never have a perfectly accurate 25 until everything slides and locks into place magnetically!

Echo that. And Star Wars Rebels is following right behind. Good stuff there. I'm not gonna lie, I fell a little in love with Ahsoka during the series.
