That’s 7:00AM here... entirely doable! Even pleasurable considering!

This is where you come into understanding of those members here who used to always try and buy five copies of the Valkyries when they came out - three for the three modes, one for swooshing, one for MISB duties. A few of those members have recently sold their extras though - lack of room, or their collecting interests changed. You've got Schrödinger’s Valkyrie there! I do not envy you your dilemma. That said, it’s kinda a nice dilemma to have! -
So, pre-order on the 27th, so that’s Thursday night for us Americans. It’s a normal release, not a web exclusive, so the regular suspects will have it available most likely on a pay-later basis. Finally, the P.O. will start at 4:00PM Japan time, which’ll work out to 3:00AM EDT. Am I missing anything other then price?

Super Macross Mecha Fun Time Discussion Thread!

Wonder how that balanced out, that’s a lot of weight forward of the center of thrust. -
What HM plane? Yeti’s been kind enough to do my F-22, F/A-18E, and Su-35.

Okay. Gleaned some more hard info about this watch. This is for you, fellow WIS’ers. Case diameter: 38.5mm lug to lug: 46mm thickness: 9.6mm movement: 7T92 quartz. This movement measures time elapsed up to 1/20 second precision, up to 12 hours. Nice watch, it’s kinda tough to find Seiko chronographs at a reasonable size - most here in the US are 42mm or larger. I do wish it had an N mecha-quartz movement, but oh well.

Yetistands are worth every penny. You won’t be disappointed.

My 31C hasn’t given me any problems. It’s just great.

Is TAS canon though? Really? Also, the UFP was in a declared war at the time. Much different than their usual state of being. Perhaps I should have not been so absolute by using “never.”

That’s awesome. I like “Drunken Moon” the best; great for a night fighter.

Perhaps the cutouts in the nacelle pylons are there to decrease visual mass. As for automated guns, it’s precisely the reason that the Cardassians were willing to use them that the UFP never will. They’re optimistic and peaceful almost to a fault, and that’s reflected most everywhere you look in uniforms, ship design, and so on. That’s just what they do. They believe the best in beings, situations, and events, as much as it’s possible for them to do so. Just remember the Andorian saying: “don’t push the pinkskins onto the thin ice.”

The F-16’s unofficial name is the Viper, from the old Battlestar Galactica TV show. Because of that, and because the first production F-2A entered squadron service in 2000, the F-2 got the nickname Viper Zero. The F-20 got made because Northrop had the idea that other countries who operated F-5s might like to have an upgraded, updated model that was still familiar in terms of maintenance and some of the spare parts needed. When tested the F-20 turned out to be a hell of a hot ship. Unfortunately the US put the kibosh on some technology being exported out of the country, and that included the F-20. Northrop shopped it around to the USAF and USN, but no dice. -

Newest add: Hobby Master’s Mitsubishi F-2 Super Kai (HA2708). So far HM’s only “what if” model, since the Kai was only ever a proposal to the JASDF and was only made in an air-show model form. Japanese distributors asked for the model to be made and it sold out quick. I’ve only ever seen a few on eBay for some $300 US or so, got this BNIB for far less! Verily, I am pleased! -
As long as it was weathered/panel lined, with utterly no defects and included an Arcadia Stand, I... might... bite.

Um, that was entirely tongue-in-cheek. But hey, imagine the radio call-sign possibilities! ”Tower, this is Cool Ranch requesting vectors to the initial!”

It does. Didn’t know Martok himself could write!

Yeah. The 31 is such a sweet piece and a joy to pose, that ALL future DX VF toys need ratcheted hips. And reissued Valkyries need to have them retrofitted.

Yeah, Worf’s SOs do tend to live short lives around him. Still, it’d be really, really nifty to see a series pretty much based around the Klingon Empire... we’d get to see just how a warrior-centric society manages to function on an interstellar scale. How do Klingons become scientists, cooks, diplomats and such if warrior is the highest calling? It’d be fascinating. To coin a phrase.

Well, one less thing to add to the translation pile, I suppose.
