I had my daughter on my lap watching Top Gear from birth. Hung a Bf-109 from her ceiling too. Nine years later, she watches The Grand Tour with me. -
I’ll simplify: if it’s Macross Plus and not utter crap, I’ll buy it.

Not cheap, indeed. $770 US shipped from the UK. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F192523150985

Yeah, they’re what used to be called “box scale.” The model company ordered the cardboard boxes for store shelves, then the shipping cartons could hold X boxes, so the model company told the sculptors to make the kits fit into the boxes. Period.- 924 replies

I think the confusion may be coming from the earlier post I alluded to about the strange Gundam pre-order time.
-
Can we please get a confirmation that preorders will start at 1600 Japan time? Someone else said a Gundam something-or-other will go up at 1800 hours and that’s a world of difference for me on the East Coast.

I have the Probert Enterprise-C and the USS Aventine. There’s a guy on eBay selling decals for the Avantine’s deflector dish and the missing windows for the Probert model. I’ll put them on when I have a chance. Getting the USS Titan next. Apparently Eaglemoss forgot a LOT of printed detail for that, I already got its decals.- 924 replies

Say, Seto, is there a pic somewhere of the acceptable markings and callouts the YF-19 wore during its stint at New Edwards? -
AND massive vertical stabilizers.
-
Look at that anhedral! I’ve NEVER seen ANY toy or model kit be able to do THAT!! Unacceptable for the prices we pay for these toys!!!
-
IF I can grab 2, I got you Arthurius.

For this crowd, nothing is “most comprehensive.” There’s always flaws, and from reading some comments those flaws are practically fatal. No Valkyrie has been immune. But they still buy multiples. This may not exceed Arcadia’s effort, but what killed Arcadia for me was the fat intake lip. They had to strike a balance between Battroid and Fighter modes, since the 19 has all kinds of anime magic going on, and that compromise wrecked the lines for me. Plus the lack of tampo printing and the floppy ankles made me say “no.” I do hope Bandai learned from their excellent 31 toys and threw in some ratcheting joints.

Looked grey in the anime.

What was the point of building the Zeak, anyway? Surely it would’ve been more practical to just have a YF-25 in the race, than try to throw its systems into a decrepit VF-0 airframe. It couldn’t have been for secrecy, since I don’t believe anyone in-universe would have bought the idea that an ummodified VF-0 would have been entered. Everyone had to have known it was very heavily breathed on anyway.
