    On that note: I wish someone would do an anime from the perspective of the Main Bad Guy /Boss. Where we hear of the hero and his group via the reports that come into the villain's office/base and the decisions they have to make. That, or an animated version of "Pete's Evil Overlord List".

    Sadly so; as my wife says: "I feel like it isn't my computer, it's theirs". And unless you keep a PC off the internet and never update it, I'm forced to agree. Wow! Really looking sharp there! Meantime, just got for a really good price on Ebay the following model: Still sealed, so that's a nice plus. It will be the replacement for one I built about 20-ish years ago that I loaned to a hobby shop for display and they still cannot find where it went! Just waiting for it to arrive, and one thing I need to do is find a replacement pilot for it (I recall the one included has..erm...issues...)

    Thanks for the clarification and added info Seto! I was unsure about how they would react, but assuming how they handle anything threatening, the "lack of clean trousers" situation would definitely apply.

    No one knows (to my knowledge), but with that said: I imagine they may not be very cordial either. In this instance "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" may very well not apply! O.o

    Lovely; makes what I went through seem like child's play. I had a package get bounced from Pittsburgh to Boston, then back to Pittsburgh, then back to Boston again and finally to Springfield for the delivery to my state. It took four extra days due to this nonsense, and it was a vitally needed computer component.

    Thanks; just need to find the focus to work on it. My wife's pc has been having issues and so far, it's been defying my expertise.

    Ah...gotcha. It would be nice if this came out well; I do have my reservations, but I have also been wrong before. One benefit of this would be telling the story without cramming everything into one really long movie.

    Plot changes for the sake of the story are one thing; plot changes for the sake of "ratings" usually fail and result in jump the shark moments. I personally think that the writers and show-runners panic whenever ratings even fluctuate slightly, and so try to keep everything pumped up artificially. The end result: you lose the core viewership and any potential new ones as well. As for being a "book-reader": I hear you. While any series may never be 100 percent "like the book" (our imaginations will always be more vivid than the SFX of Hollywood), getting too far "out of the ballpark" is a dangerous place for any show to be.

    To get this thread going again, I posit the following: Try using masking tape (3M™ Scotch brand tape with the yellow/red/black inner core), cardboard (flat, sheet, tube) and mat board (the kind you use for artwork works best) for your projects. Burnishing the tape down and using a good layer of primer and clearcoat to seal it works wonders, and doesn't require adhesives. The peng has spoken....
