In the same interview with Mr. Tsutomu Terashima of the HMR VF-19 Kai, here is the part where he discusses the Tiny Sessions YF-19 & VF-19 Kai (please use browser translation): https://hobby.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/interview/1577662-2.html

https://hobby.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/interview/1577662.html Interview with Mr. Tsutomu Terashima, from Bandai Spirits Collectors Division (apparently also involved in the DX Chogokins) - please use browser translation. I find it interesting because there never was any interview with anyone within Bandai before for our Macross toys, at least not in recent memory. Couple of notes: 1. It will be matte, instead of glossy like the old HM. 2. New sound booster is likely to be made, but not actually confirmed yet.

Love the way you did this pose. Based on what you are saying it came out really well! BTW, what's that blue ship on the shelf below, at the bottom right in the 2nd pic? Looks interesting.. -

Yamato Priss & Motoslave metallic ver is the best toy to me, and I do wish they Yamato had updated the rest to metallic versions as well. They are not perfect, but those are the only figure + bike toy sets that were released, and so far Arcadia hasn't mentioned a peep about them. They come up very rarely over Mandarake, but somehow they do show up semi-occasionally at YAJ (that's how I completed my sets not that long ago). Perhaps check over at Suruga-ya JP as well as an odd set might pop up now and then. At this stage, it's safe to say the Figma ones that were previewed something like 5 years ago are dead.

Consolidated Megazone 23 Toy/Model Thread for 2017-2018
MKT replied to RavenHawk's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Congratulations & it is a very nice toy. I've not transformed it yet, but from reviews it is one of those rare toys where the judicious use of diecast doesn't seem to compromise sculpt, stability or strength of the joints. Perhaps move on to get the Proto-Garland as well...- 791 replies

Nice comparison pics on the relative sizes. Had no idea the Takatoku is that much bigger. -
Hopefully the tilting mechanism will be further tweaked. It was a bit scary when the bed suddenly jumped a few notches as it was lifting. But at least we know the Ingram is secured or pegged some way onto the bed rather than just being laid there, otherwise it would have been thrown off the table.

CCS is really killing it with their releases and really stand out compared to competitors.. I'm thankful I don't have much affinity to the various IPs they have touched so far

I did see a listing for a pre-owned Mechanic Edition at Amiami last week, listed at circa Yen 70k. It was sold the same day lol. Yeahh hopefully price will come down to more sane levels, like how the last DX Chogokin TN 2017 exclusive the VF-31J Kai did.

Seeing images and line art of the VF-2JA recently makes me really want it to be released in the HMR line. The VF-2SS may have sort of bombed a bit upon on release, but secondary market prices have finally turned the corner not long ago and are now trending upwards quite a bit... as with the VF-2SS releases, I will easily buy multiples.

Radio control function sounds cool, but I rather it didn't come with electronics. We really aren't gonna be zooming the carrier around the park with Labor in tow
-
I was just reading somewhere a few days ago that the VF-1J release is confirmed to be impending with no more delays, but can't find the post or link now.. Will update if I do find it.

Thanks for translating the captions @tekering. Was trying to use google translate earlier but some words were too low res for the translator to read. I guess that panel line underside of cockpit is all we get as visual clue for landing gear bay door.. Too bad no lines on the legs to indicate the rear gears' doors, but then again we don't see this either in the line art for most other VFs.
