    Amiami 1/8 Strike Witches Francesca Lucchini Another random buy, again of whom I have no idea. But it’s cheap for a scaled figure, and I’m curious to see the quality of an Amiami produced figure.

    Re: the Ghost booster tilt. Here's an old pic (previously unused, didn't like many aspects of it) of Arcadia's 0A with the Yamato booster. It doesn't really tilt, if any, at all. But agree with @Chronocidal, the tapered look, top intake plus the other lines & shape of the Ghost booster do give a strong impression of an upward tilt. I had always thought with its landing gears down, it has an even more pronounced tilt, but when viewed directly from the sides it's not really there.

    Yup.. Mandarake standard's pretty high, so small dings are considered 'package heavily damaged' lol. Anyway, Amazon JP is already going very near that 14k price as well for a new one (remember to take 10% off listed price on account of domestic tax).

    Sounds like already justified. I could never justify the Renewal Armor Parts at the aftermarket prices, & came close to pulling trigger on the v1 Armored set just to have a set & to display in Fighter mode. I'll get this Revival for sure but the v1 option is still on the table for me as a second set for static mode display.

    So, SHF Guile just got released. And the reviews have been pretty meh.. The standards have dropped quite a bit compared to the other SHF Street Fighter figures, and it's disappointing to see such especially with competition from Jada Toys. One would think Bandai would have put in extra effort to justify their higher MSRP, but it looks to be the other way around.

    Oops I totally missed the YF-29 (chalk it down to I'm just so uninterested in it, it was totally out of my mind lol), and I think you are right on the other factors.

    If not mistaken, the KYD store caters to Japan domestic only.

    If we look at just after the 3 minute mark, the knee allows the lower leg to bend backwards 90 degrees. If not mistaken, the legs on previous VF-0 releases can’t bend that far, and if so, Bandai made this stealth change for the 0A.

    If PO goes up in June, we should have a release by Christmas. It's pretty much foregone that it'll be WWM.. I just hope it's a normal release and not a P-Bandai item.

    Great pics! I feel this particular one above shows how great it was to be a Macross collector back in 2006, and how great it still is about 20 years later.

    So for Ryu Hayabusa, the Kaiyodo Online exclusive is just an extra 'Blade of the Archfiend'. https://www.kyd-store.jp/c/genre/amazing-yamaguchi_g_r/nr052 So far, very little of the usual JP stores are carrying this. Amiami is offering the normal version (no PO discount!), whereas Hobby-Genki is offering the online exclusive.

    I'm now only just thinking that the HG 1/100 line will stop at Macross 7 valks lol. As per the interview article, the HG line got good responses and I think it is because fans accepted that's the only solution to get anime accuracy on all modes. I doubt fans will accept HG-like partsforming for the later CG-designed valks like Zero or Delta, unless they come out with interpreted sculpt that's different enough to justify partsforming and at the same time pleasing to the eye - sculpt that's something like the recent Plamax 1/72 VF-1 Batttroid. Entirely agree with these sentiments.

    Nice! So far, the only complaint is Bandai really missing the opportunity to make the Ghost independent with landing gears, articulated canards & sensor eye. They already did 90% of the work, just need that extra 10%. Times like these just make one appreciate Yamato's more & more. I would agree. It'll look swoopy and have presence in pics, but will be quite limiting during play.

    Yes rainbow canopy & white landing gears haha. I do intend to get the Yammie VT-1. Usually when a DX is announced, the corresponding Yammie will drop in price. But somehow, this hasn't started happening yet for the Yammie - perhaps gotta wait till when the DX is actually released.

    I too, really like the idea of combining both YF-23 & the Q-Rau and resulting in a really cool hybrid of a YF-21. Yet the YF-21 stands out as an anomaly among Kawamori's designs, as it does seem to have the most amount of anime magic / proportion shifting among the various VFs. The other Plus & Mac7 VFs also have quite a bit, but don't seem to be up to the degree the YF-21 has. I think Kawamori was also very much enamored by the YF-23 + Q-Rau idea, tried his hardest to make it work, but in a not so charitable interpretation he succumbed to anime magic in the end and cheated.
