    It’s totally understandable. But it is pretty good for 1/100 builders even though it’s almost a 10 or more year old kit. It probably would have done better if it got this kind of attention on its original release

    That’s one of those bands that have been around so long, but haven’t dropped in quality. I do prefer their first couple albums, but the others usually have pretty good stuff. I also love that version of Spillways with Joe Elliot on vocals that Ghost put out a year or so ago

    It fits quite a bit of my Valk scale. Most of mine are Hasegawa and Bandai and some Wave and now Max Factory. The rest of what I have are 1/100 and a few not really 1/100

    It’s also a Disney movie, so I’ll expect a failure. Although, I’d love to be wrong. It is a pretty good cast

    The only major complaint that I have is the cost for displaying all three modes since you need to buy two battroid kits and two fighter kits, so four kits to display them all. They do also have a bit of a thick look in the body as well as the 1S head. I personally prefer their 1A head. The Gerwalk is also a bit of an odd one since the joints are weird and the knee covers have to be left off. Also , with the TV Skull1 in Roy’s old colors, they only have movie hands and a movie pilot. Definitely not as fun as Plamax, but more fun than Hasegawa.

    Not sure on Disney’s current voice actors. But I don’t see a major problem with them dubbing these. They still give an audio option on their shows and if the dub is bad, just go with the subs

    It’s even worse for me, since I would have loved this scale over the large ones. I have a lot of the movie and some remakes versions, but those were barely over twenty bucks. These are nearly a hundred, but have all the characters the way I would have wanted them. It really breaks my heart that I can’t get them all or even a few.

    Is that legit, 52 finished episodes.2020 was kinda when all the streaming services mostly just pumped things out. Maybe the show sucked really bad or they figured there’s no interest at all.

    Honestly, your first few weeks have been phenomenal. My first builds were nowhere near this level of quality. Heck, my first decade of builds didn’t look that good

    There’s always the possibility things might turn out interesting for the series if OSHA after putting on the helmet becomes the acolyte rather than Mae since she had been rejected by the Jedi. Or that Mae and osha balance eachother and somehow become one as the acolyte, but those are pretty far fetched. Then again there’s one episode left and the show really didn’t seem to need to be titled the Acolyte unless something far fetched happens, but that’s hoping for too much at this point

    The Saturday morning version definitely looks better. The actual one reminds of those early 2000’s crime scene and accident reenactment visuals

    I’ve always had a hard time finding images of the Rhea variant showing how the legs fit, I thought it was like the Rau, but never been sure

    I had a similar issue a few years back on a gundam kit. I used to use cs glue to do the bonding and seams. It was the lower arm section and had been smoothed and painted and weathered , basically completed. Then I went to pop in the hand into the wrist polycap and it just reopened the whole seam due to pressure. Had to redo the whole part. I then switched to extra thin cement and usually wait a couple days before popping pieces together just to be safe

    Not sure if anyone here watches the ZakuAurelius YouTube channel, but he’s doing a model contest for old to gold. Basically taking older kits and doing the best you can with them. I noticed a lot folks here recently doing some older type kits and might be worth looking into. He said has to be Mecha, so even if it's something like Macross, it can’t be a fighter only kit, but could be battroid or Gerwalk modes.

    There’s just a lot of nothing in this show. Not sure, but I hear next week is already the last episode and it feels like so much time was wasted that if it is the last, then it’s gonna feel super rushed. There’s still the whole who trained Smilo and who’s calling the shots and OSHA being temper by an old helmet full of Smilo’s musk. It’s a lot to cover in one episode that probably will just be another fail
