  1. I don’t mind Aragorn, but Frodo is a bit off. Maybe it’s the brow. I’m more interested if they do the baddies like Sauron or the wraiths or that kreepy mouth of Sauron guy or some cool goblins and such
  2. Just glad it’s snot something else
  3. Not a perfect movie, but I had fun with it. If it had come out just a few years sooner, then it probably would’ve been a hit
  4. In their recent picture of the hot pink zentraedi pilot, it’s standing next to a vitruvian hacks knight by boss fights. That particular company is very small and their original knights were on a kickstarter. But after that the majority of their products have been standard releases with a few that are exclusive to certain sites like the red one pictured, which was a bbts exclusive. They still do an occasional kickstarter for a figure every now and then, but not often. They mostly just used the process to start their company and don’t rely on the process. If a company is relying mainly on that process, then it’s a bad sign. There’s been several companies and many of which were toy companies that have gone under using this process. Many of those go under bankruptcy and then don’t pay the customers back their money. That’s really why so many people are against this here. This particular company is getting further and further behind on their promises making it even harder to trust them. And when that company doesn’t communicate well with their customers, then it’s just another red flag to add to the pile. Don’t get me wrong, I understand a lot of smaller companies are dealing with delays post Covid. Things got a little weird overseas, but many people have been waiting multiple years on their products and that can cause mistrust, especially with a lack of communication. If this company was more reliable and good with their customer relations, that probably would get more people involved in their process, but the majority of people would still rather just see a simple preorder at a website they trust like BBTS or Entertainment Earth or whatever their favorite spot is. No upfront cash and easy cancellation in case things look bad.
  5. I still think they’re disappointing at home, but fantastic to look at in 3D at a good theater. The stories are a bit bland, but visually immersive for sure with proper viewing
  6. I just hope it’s better than the second one. The first one was the best fantastic four movie on the big screen by far, but the second wasn’t as good, although may still be better than a fantastic four movie
  7. I think the fire Valkyrie is a different thing where it’s supposed to be a hot rod. While the soldier armor here begs to be dull
  8. Oddly that whole controversy doesn’t seem so bad these days, especially with so many pop stars getting caught doing the same thing faking the vocals to a backing track
  9. The preorder on it is already up at hlj and some of the other sites. For those with extra cash and missed out the first time, it’s definitely a cool item
  10. Gotta agree about the Zentraedi soldiers. That hot pink bugs me and it would be even worse if it was that weird metallic thing they like to go for. Just give it that dark blue grey and grey lavender color and flat coat it. They’re weird space soldiers, not hardcore ravers
  11. Supposedly Amazon prime live action, but take that with a couple grains of salt
  12. I know that it’s not a bigger company like Hasbro, but they don’t need to rely on kickstarters for every release. I’m not joining in on it and from the sounds of things it’s not a very reliable system. If bbts or some other site offers a preorder, then I’ll be more interested there. Personally I don’t mind the little pilots and if they fix the colors, I’ll more than likely preorder them if that becomes an option.
  13. Nice. They keep dropping rumors about Toby and it throws me off. There even odd ones about the Garfield one getting a part three. It’s crazy. Might end up with a summer full of Spider-Man movies in the near future with an odd Spider-Man Noir tv show following in that spring if all the odd rumors became anything and that’s just covering the live action Spider Man main stuff.
  14. Same here. Seems he was in make up for quite a few wild characters
  15. I’m always confused on which Spider-Man 4 since they keep throwing around sequels to the non mcu spideys
  16. Ice Age Six, Ray Ramano needs a paycheck
  17. I have that boss fights knight standing next to the pilot. It looks like he stands just slightly higher possibly due to his high heels, so these figures will be rather small at around 1/18th figure size the hot pink is an odd choice of color. I was noticing that the elbow bent holding the rifle has the elbow pad in the proper position while the straight arms have them to the sides, maybe the actual joint there can be rotated to get more interesting poses. I’d like to see a back of that bent arm to see how the pad is actually handled
  18. I didn’t see the show until getting a bootleg in the late 90’s. Although I’d seen odd kits and toys in odd shops here in the U.S. since the 80’s and was always fascinated by the designs. The ova and movie releases I think were and maybe still be on one of the oddball streaming services like retro crush. Might be worth checking into because a free trial might be totally worth it.
  19. It’s a good movie, but not really the kind of movie I want to see again for a while
  20. The red shoulder thing on the left was first seen in the show and turned out to be a mistake. Chirico corrected the painter and told him that the blood sucker battalion of red shoulders had them on the right and a different shade of red. the pilots for the turbo custom depends on the load out. There’s a post a bit above on this page that tells which pilot went with each loadout
  21. The only thing really important that might carry over would be the who’s who list of those that were replaced. Other than that the show was rather insignificant
