  1. Could always use some space stuff
  2. I’ve been kinda wondering the same. Some conventions like anime and comic ones are coming back, some with special requirements like vaccination status or masks or lees than normal occupancy. Last week I took my daughter to our first concert since the shut downs to see Volbeat and Ghost in Anaheim. They required a vaccine card or negative test and the seating was set up to where there was an empty seat next to each group. That place was packed other than the required empty seats and oddly enough no distancing with the GA floor area, probably because they wouldn’t have been able to enforce it. I know rules are different depending on the counties and they do seem to go back and forth depending on the situation. I’m not sure if any thought to guests or anything at these kinds of events. I know at the concert they did have signings for fans and I think some of the upcoming comic conventions are planning those as well.
  3. That’s totally cheating using an image character that got retconned into dc. I wouldn’t mind if McFarlane did some updated toys for classic image characters. Wildcats and Youngblood or a deluxe Maxx or Pitt.
  4. That one is really nice. It’s blended so well between the 2 designs yet definitely lends more to fss.
  5. Honestly my favorites are The Boys, Invincible and Umbrella Academy and none of those fit into marvel or dc. I may be wrong about Umbrella Academy, never read or heard of the comic before the show.
  6. The last couple episodes were just a lot of wtf all over the place. I mean, there’s how many things going crazy can they add and how many things can just go wrong or right or I don’t even know. If it wasn’t so entertaining I would have checked out a long time ago. This show somehow seems to have jumped the shark and doubled back to jump multiple sharks at the same time. honestly when I first saw this show I thought it would just be a more simple conflict between the androids and the newcomer religious fanatics. I sure was wrong.
  7. That scale comparison really puts things into perspective. I always thought the lancers were a lot bigger than that.
  8. Yay! Can’t wait. The cartoon wasn’t as entertaining as I’d hoped
  9. I’ve been keeping up with raised by wolves, and it does feel like there’s no real direction and things just happen that move things along kinda oddly. And gotta agree about that little girl robot. It’s still entertaining though
  10. I’ve never been the type to add lights to a kit, but I do like seeing others do it
  11. They probably just didn’t train him well enough to put the chest armor on in the correct direction, so let’s just hope he was at least trained well enough to use that space diaper
  12. That’s the guy. I remember the toy a bit more than how he was animated, but just couldn’t remember the name
  13. That sdf-1 looks like it’s coming along
  14. I think they just made the upper legs longer for this. They usually look a bit shorter in the upper legs and the missing hose covers on the face make it look thinner there as well. This poor Zaku needs a sandwich and some new clothes
  15. The more I see of this the more I worry. Hopefully the stupid steampunk vespa gang won’t make a cameo. I’ll still check it out hoping for more good than bad, but Star Wars is really bad at establied character stories
  16. I was thinking instead of killer croc, the gator guy from tmnt. It has the shotgun and almost the same outfit. I’m blanking on the name
  17. I meant that the explosive bolts blasted the armor towards him instead of away
  18. So it exploded at him? That’s a weird design
  19. Damn, that looks so much better than it ever did on screen
  20. Looks pretty front heavy in Gerwalk but definitely interesting
  21. As far as that duel bridge goes, it seems smaller, but I don’t think the Captain ever bumped his head in the movie version like he did in the much bigger looking tv version. Macross scale confuses me so much.
  22. Thanks guys. Those clear pieces luckily weren’t too difficult to put in. For anyone who is working on the kit it was a pretty simple addition. I just used a small pin vice drill with a bit smaller than the actual sensors. Don’t know why Hasegawa molded them in the body in dull blue, but I marked around them with a panel liner, so I would know where the edge was then drilled in. I’m not very good at centering especially over a round surface, so starting with a slightly smaller bit helped. Then I just widened and centered the holes with a needle file to the point where the panel lining was barely visible. Then just used the included clear red sensors and set then in, added a little dab of thin cement on the back side of the armor around the sensors. Then pressed a bit longer lightly with the back of some tweezers while the glue was still wet and they sick in pretty well just take your time if you do it on your own kit and drill and file those holes slowly so you don’t make the holes too big otherwise you will need to make some kind of backing for the little sensors. My biggest tip is just relax take your time and listen to some good music while you work. hasegawa easily could have avoided making the builder do this mod by just leaving the holes open and having a similar attachment like they did on the leg sensors, but oh well
