Waiting could be a very long time. They still are sitting on that other 1s and have teased some 1a colors for a few years. Those would be easy repaints milking the molds that already exist
-
I rewatched that video of the showroom and it looks a little taller than the vf1, but it may be because it’s on a stand and up in front.
-
Where would you fit that. It would be like the size of a doorway and expensive

Christian Bale seems like a good villain with that voice

Been waiting too long for this, but can’t wait for the preorder. Looks really great

Well, they do have a chubby regult and pilot. They probably will have more coming. I’m skipping their regult though. It’s kind ugly. Curious about the zentraedi soldier though since they only have a teaser pic

[Disney+] Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers
Big s replied to Old_Nash's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
That stuff is pretty light compared to the disrespect of the child actor from that Peter Pan movie. Poor guy actually had his contract cancelled because the makeup gave him acne. Then he ended up penniless and homeless. And then after that a couple of kids found him dead. He wasn’t even identified, so he was buried in a nameless grave.- 30 replies

I liked that one as well. It was like a parody of those zombie survival phone games they always advertise on YouTube.

I think that most destroids are probably close enough to piloting a battroid with the Valkyrie being more complicated due to flight and transformation. I’d imagine that a Valkyrie pilot could easily pilot most with ease, but a destroid pilot might have more difficulty going the other way

It was the 80’s. No one was wearing seatbelts back when this got made. Things didn’t change until the vehicles started angrily beeping at you if you didn’t put on your belt. I remember quite a few jeep accidents on the street where people were launched from the vehicle after tipping.

The one about the Rats and the one about the boat are my favorites for this season. The one with the knights was definitely interesting to watch.

Things haven’t been as bad as the vf100 line in a long time. I think we might be lucky and at most only have to swap optional hands and maybe a gunpod connection. I’m not sure about landing gear either.

Or pure Mospeada or even Pure Southern Cross. There’s so much goofy terminology that’s been thrown around in the last couple pages that I have no idea what’s going on anymore. I get that without talking a bit about Robotech we wouldn’t have too much to talk about on the Southern Cross section, but it’s kinda turned into a default everything Robotech section

I’m not gonna talk too much bad about the kitz stuff. They may not look as good as any of the Japanese releases, but the people that like them have a much easier time obtaining them and their also a bit more affordable for those that like them. And for the completionist they probably will do all the tv vf1 ‘s. The line does seem to be making improvements

I was thinking something more like this. But the sled mode gets you to the position and then set up for artillery mode. They’d be further from combat and wouldn’t ideally need heavy armor, not that that’s how they ended up being used in the show since they weren’t the most well trained military. And like I said above they probably didn’t have any real enemies until the zor, so their personal armor would probably be enough protection against small arms in a riot situation.

I kinda brought this idea up a couple pages ago. I really think the Sparta wasn’t so much a designed as a tank. It’s more of a fast sled to get a high tech howitzer into position. The thing probably wasn’t covered due to the personal armor the characters had. They also weren’t fighting aliens or gigantic wars until the Zor arrived, so these probably were more used for anti riot situations. The humanoid mode was probably just Incase they needed extra protection. But this is all my own justification for it. Southern Cross really doesn’t fit in with Robotech very well since nothing seems designed to combat giant space soldiers or invid hordes. But they make a bit of sense when not thinking about Macross or Mospeada. The military isn’t even a highly functional one with a good amount of delinquents and lack of discipline, probably due to not having an enemy or even threat of an enemy.
