I’d really love to see it in the theater. Although it is weird, wasn’t this originally made as a video cassette? Are they keeping the tv aspect or are they going to change it somehow? It’s definitely one of my all time favorites. I know a lot of people were going crazy for Akira here in the states around that time, but even though it probably was better in just about every way, I always really loved Vampire Hunter D flaws and all.

Now I gotta wonder what you did to make them so angry. Were you making too much fun of their moms, or worse, did you actually have relations with their moms?

The backgrounds are kinda my favorite part. The Max version of the Queadluun Rau is my favorite one so far

I was planning on waiting as well, but I did buy a couple of the sets for other purposes

Simple designs work far better for these cloth outfits. I liked the Shredder on the previous page for a similar reason.

If the stripes don’t bug you, I’m pretty sure that these have white numbers on the decal sheet. Although, I have no doubt that these will be eventual releases in the near future

The box art for these Zentraedi kits have been really awesome so far. Far better than what the assignment required for cool box art. I wish Bandai would allow their boxes to be as dynamic and action packed as these.

In case I ever think I’ve gone overboard on weathering my own projects, at least I know that the pro probably would disagree would probably say that I haven’t weathered enough -
I figured the M&M variants were coming and I actually skipped the Gamlin version, so yeah, 9 of these for me. I do like Gamlin, but that would have put me at 12 as well. Plus Gamlin was a web exclusive. I’ve seen his restocked a couple times already, so if I change my mind one day, it won’t be too hard to get

It’s weird how things connect. Without Cheech and Chong, we might not have had Pee Wee, without Pee Wee we might not have had Morpheus

Just got the notification that my three Max 22’s are in at hlj

Yeah, it’s definitely something I like seeing. These kits aren’t gonna be cheap though. Hobbysearch has it for $79 on preorder. I’ll have to be more selective on these than I was with the little ones.

I’ve never bought a video game or electronics, but I did buy an action figure and everything came as advertised. It’s kinda like eBay light. I think experiences will vary depending on the individual sellers

I used to live in Riverside just a couple years ago and then as soon as I leave Cheech opens up a museum there. I guess there wasn’t enough room for both of us in that town. I’ll probably check this out. My favorite movie with Cheech will always be Born in East LA, but I did always feel a little down that Chong was missing from it.

They’ll possibly do one one day, but for now it’s manual labor time

I saw a few conversions for that kit that looked really great. One was for the J that they just put the preorder for and another was for the cannon type that looked even cooler. I kept telling myself that it would be a waste of time since a Bandai variant, I didn’t realize that it would take them a decade or so. Hoping that Bandai doesn’t wait too long to do a cannon variant

I have no doubt they’re planning on releasing those, and they’re gonna be pretty great.
-
They probably will. Might be a web exclusive though

A bunch of kits went up for preorder for the new Gundam show. I didn’t care, but something that totally surprised me was the Gallus from ZZ Gundam has an hg kit. I figured it wouldn’t be too hard to do since there was a Unicorn version that seems to be one of the rarest standard releases ever. But I guess I was surprised that this is a standard release as well

I’ll wait and see if they do the A type

Wave’s pricing isn’t really that bad for a smaller company. Hg Bandai kits are starting to creep up into the mid thirties these days. As an example for a smaller 1/35 kit of the scopedog without the cockpit and downform parts, it’s about thirty bucks and has extra hands, round mover back pack and a machine gun. A fairly good amount of plastic. 1/100 destroids don’t even have hands or extra weapons or back packs. I’d still expect they’d probably be near that range more or less
-
Yeah, it looks pretty great actually.
-
I have a feeling that they didn’t include those due to possible upcoming releases that might be just around the corner

Nice pick. I like their earlier stuff the best. Sort of a folk band smashed into a punk band kinda sound at the time.
