Yeah, I’m just curious about how well they get that grumpy face

One of those oddities from Black Sabbath that I really love. Not so big on GNR though these days. Not so much a complaint about Slash or Duff or the rest of the band, but Axel hasn’t really been able to perform on stage anywhere near what he was able to do in his youth. Hilghlights for me from the show were Tool and their set with Hand of Doom, the Jack Black video with some famous Kids like Tom Morrelo’s son Noah doing Mr. Crowley, The super group doing Bark at the moon with Rudy Sarzo, the guitarist from Living color Travis Barker on the drums and Papa V from Ghost. Metallica and Slayer had great sets as well as the usually do. Lots of great musicians and a great sets of songs all around for the most part all giving an amazing goodbye to Ozzy and Black Sabbath. I would have loved to have been there, but I’m not rich or fast enough on Ticket Master. As a fun note it’s worth looking up the Pantera set to watch Jason Mamoa jump into the crowd and start moshing. Definitely a highlight moment there.

I honestly stopped watching Arrow after only a couple episodes. It looked terrible and really wasn’t that good of a story. I kinda feel like weak hero types need more than just a basic show and Arrow type characters in particular need a bit more for me personally. Hawkeye kinda works in the Avengers stuff mainly because he wasn’t a main character in the movies and they developed him through the movies to make a passable show, although barely passable. Never been a fan of Arrow based heroes or water based heroes or shrinking/ growing heroes.

Curious about this one.

Honestly, I hadn’t ever heard of this character before the previews. Seems he was a character that didn’t pop up till the late 90’s when most people dipped out of comic collecting. I don’t think I had read anything DC since 92 or 93

Yeah, they’ve totally lost their magic. That and theme music. It’s really tough to hear an iconic theme these days

What’s there not to get? Magical bowling balls happen. Sometimes they’re possessed by a dead father, like in Mystery Men and sometimes the marble within resonates with the ancient past when artifacts are struck by lightning. Seems pretty common and the reason I stay away from bowling alleys. -
Looks even better

Looks really wild in color

Love the color

I could see something like that for the movie version, since it’s not clear how the ammo feeds into the pistol, but the drum on the tv version appears too big for the pack -
We were checking out some lesser films available on Amazon yesterday and found Heads of State with John Cena and Idris Elba. It’s a very basic kinda idiotic predicable buddy action movie where Cena plays the U.S.president and Elba is the prime minister of the U.K.. The plot is easy to figure out and things explode way bigger than justified and you gotta really suspend disbelief, but if you can just switch off your brain, it’s a pretty fun one. Elba and Cena practically play their usual cookie cutter selves, but even though it’s a tired premise, they kinda play off each well enough for the movie to barely work. It ain’t winnin an award or even coming close to being a runner up for a nomination. Bassically, if you don’t have to pay to see it and you got some popcorn and can watch a movie with the intelligence levels turned down, it’s not a bad way to spend an afternoon or evening.

Super Macross Mecha Fun Time Discussion Thread!

Not sure if it’s a question that’s been answered, but was wondering about the pack in the right hip of the Nousjadeul Ger armors. Seems to be a similar pack with both the movie and tv show versions. The one in the left hip seems to be a simple armor piece, but the right side looks very different. Just was wondering since recently there was a build of the old Imai kit of the tv version in the workbench section. -
With all the talk about the Nousjadeul Ger, I was wondering if there’s any info on the pack in the right hip? The left hip has what looks like a simple armor piece, while the right looks very different like there’s a purpose

very festive, you should find a way to hang him from the tree around the holidays. You can have a very merry Macrossmas

I remember the gray being a bit darker in the purple one, but it’s one of those things where the colors seem to change depending on the screen shot or the source. The wiki site is closer to the ones I remember, but I’d have to see it again in the show. I remember the box was really off from the ones in the show. here’s a screenshot of the purple one and it has the dark gray and also gray feet

Have you decided on which version to paint it as?

As far as Attack on Titan, it was and probably still my favorite anime of this millennium. I don’t think there’s even a close second. But I do have to say that the stuff before discovering that there were other nations was the better part of the show. I still liked it, but there’s a frightening thing about not knowing where your monsters come from. Kinda like with Alien or Predator. Once you find out then it’s not a scary. But unlike a lot of sequels to Alien or Predator, I still really liked the later episodes of Attack on Titan -
I remember it being grey and white, but it’s been a while

It’s about time that someone in the movie actually criticized the armored bikini. She should have asked about High heels also

Seems more like the new trend. Fantastic Four was already advertising their sets as well. Might be more to do with modern audiences and the whole streaming thing taking out the disc market. Kinda like they gotta get those preorders out long before the thing is just free and nobody cares anymore.

Nice to see it finished and glad to hear that it’s pretty fun after being built. Also it’s a cool improvement that it doesn’t need polycaps. Gives me hope for further kits down the line. this one looks really great, lots of cool weathering and the light up looks right and not out of place. I’d love to see how it looks in low light

What are your plans on the pilot? Are you putting him inside? The upper panel with the head can pop off, and actually be displayed in an open position, but the panel just sits with friction. I had wondered about maybe some type of pin hinge to allow opening, but never did it. That’s a wild mod there for sure. Can’t wait to see it all put together and all function.

I might still try it out.
