Are those just parts from the Roy grey added?

Tell that to Jar Jar. He was the ultimate politician I’d watch it That whole bad shooting storm troopers thing has been totally debunked. They just got too cocky and were attempting to shoot left handed and over estimated their abilities. If they just fired right handed, Luke would’ve been toast

They didn’t pay her enough to try harder. Honestly, it was a pretty bad accent and maybe they decided that she just couldn’t pull it off #1 is already supposedly in production with Henry Cavil on Amazon as a series, I don’t think anything has been filmed yet though. As far as the rest, you probably don’t want Hollywood to touch em since they’ll probably ruin them anyway. But Amazon does do some decent stuff series wise with the exception of lord of the rings being a total turd. Fallout was great and kinda showed that they can do stuff with armor.

Honestly, the cast is a bit over the top. Some of this kinda thing works ok in a comedy like Deadpool, but it’s gonna be hard to take it seriously here. The last Spider Man movie kinda falls apart with repeat watching and I don’t think this will have any staying power with all the multiverse stuff it’ll need to bring all these characters together. It’s gonna have some cool, ohh there’s so and so moments, but then that’s gonna die the second watch of the film. He was the only one actually shown in the teaser

I’m guessing Elizabeth Olsen. She said in a few interviews that she doesn’t want to be a part of anymore avengers movies after they screwed things up in that Dr Strange movie. She didn’t specify if that means out of the mcu altogether or just out of Avengers stuff. I guess she was angry about constant changes and such. But being honest, she’d probably take the paycheck if it’s offered

The Official Moscato Hobby Models Thread
Big s replied to captain america's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
If I had that kind of cash, I’d love to help. Unfortunately I’m a bit of a poor bastard, so I’ll probably only be able to afford the little version from wave. But if one day soon I win the lotto, I’ll definitely buy in -
I’m ok with the nostalgia, but I don’t like that the dude is texting that there is an alien on board. I think it would have been far more interesting if the team going to check out the crash had no idea that anything could be wrong other than a malfunction causing the crash, and were completely unprepared for combat

The 'Hey look at this really cool model build I saw' post
Big s replied to Shawn's topic in Model kits
You’re probably correct, but I love the effort to try and be able to still say it’s the old model. I think if starting from scratch, the model could have even better proportions though and I don’t think it would have been beyond this guy’s skills -
General 1/18 Scale Figure and Toy Thread
Big s replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
If you look at a lot of smaller companies, they usually end up over the $50 range. As far as bootleg companies like what this one appears to be, they can range drastically since they don’t pay for the actual licensing. Some of the companies try the smaller simple figures and then if they do well jump to a larger scale or more articulation or both, so there’s always a little hope for something better down the line. Basically, if people show interest then something better is a good possibility, and if they don’t do it, another company might -

This guy has some serious sculpting talent. It has the basic silhouette, but just about everything is completely redone -
General 1/18 Scale Figure and Toy Thread
Big s replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yes, unfortunately. People only have a certain amount of money. They can either do a simple nostalgia style toy for cheap and have a chance at a profit, or produce a really cool toy that costs more to make and sell that sends them into bankruptcy. There’s only a handful of consumers that even remember V at this point and even fewer of those that would ever care that there’s a toy, so they produced something cheap and easy. -

V was great, -
I kinda meant between rebel factions since that’s what the alliance was made up of rather than just bringing back the same enemy again

The RoboTech Adaptation movie animation
Big s replied to Red254x's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah, Robotech only kept going until things just would’ve ended up in the Stone Age. Rick Hunter would’ve actually been a hunter wearing a fur outfit riding a woolly Mammoth -
The RoboTech Adaptation movie animation
Big s replied to Red254x's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I agree for the most part here. I do think there could be room for some type of reboot that doesn’t use the original anime and actually becomes its own thing. But they don’t have the money or power to do that. -
The RoboTech Adaptation movie animation
Big s replied to Red254x's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I think it still comes down to funding. Animation these days seems almost more difficult to get a green light than live action. And to get the recognition for a new animation there has to be some kind of major interest or a larger company backing the project. He Man and Transformers still get stuff made because of larger toy companies. Robotech really only has a couple of small Indy companies making the toys and they’re not really something you see in a store. Macross on the other hand has most of their stuff made by Japanese companies like Bandai that kind of expect a new series to bring in more toy and model interest. It also helps that a good portion of the Macross franchise is now available for streaming in multiple countries. I can easily find a model kit of Mirya’s VF-22 from Macross 7 in American hobby shops, while a toy of a Rick hunter VF-1j for Robotech is pretty much non existent outside of collectors shows. It’s really surprising since Macross 7 was the oddball for a while that most American viewers hadn’t seen compared to the original Macross or its Robotech adaptation. But that is all probably due to the backing of not only Bandai, but Disney as well. -
Yeah, they could easily have done a civil war or even introduced a new enemy rather than recycling the same bad guys over again

I guess the title explains the white face makeup and the painted nails. At least it’s not as depressing as Battletech emo

I barely got into the whole switch thing. So I’m ok with waiting. Besides, I guess Assault suit Leynos 2 is now available , so I’m gonna probably play the heck out of it.

She’s kinda one of those characters that seems ok until they get further into the story and you realize that Disney likes the idea of an incompetent generation, so that they can try and have their new heroes. They basically 💩ed on every major character from the original trilogy and a few lesser characters just too spread the💩around. Unfortunately that’s the usual cookie cutter treatment for every franchise that Disney touches
-
That’s true. Amazon somehow ruined Lord of the Rings. But Disney somehow killed Indy, Star Wars, Marvel, Lucas film in general and even their own original stuff.

I think I stopped enjoying rewatching Star Trek stuff after DS9 and I used to enjoy rewatching Star Wars OG films even after the Disney purchase, but I haven’t done a rewatch after all the shows kinda turned mostly into flops. And now that I think of it, I don’t really rewatch the marvel stuff anymore more either, especially after the legacy of most of the characters seemed ruined for the most part. Might still rewatch The Guardians of the Galaxy films though. Even spider man doesn’t really make me excited much anymore, after a second viewing of No Way Home (the movie that gets worse every rewatch). I think the multiverse ruined those films. Never really cared for the DC stuff anymore, but I’d probably still enjoy a rewatch of The Suicide Squad, but I don’t know how I’ll feel after the reboot films start coming out
