Yeah, after reading this I just rewatched Operation 4 and 5. That carrier lift off rocked after all the crap they got from the IJN. A polite "big finger'. http://bbs.ruliweb.com/hobby/board/300082/read/9259470

I'm hoping I can use the lower torso and legs off the Hasegawa or Fujima pilot and crew kits. Full legs arent needed as you cant see up under the console.
-
I'll pull one out tonight and compare it
-
Hmmm can you buy frames from Bandai as replacement parts like you can for Hasegawa? If so, couldnt we use the replacement frames with the pilots from our VF-31s then?
-
ahhhhhhh I see what you did there... this guy bought a "Robotech Veritech kit", not a "VF-1 Macross kit"... come on Slide.. I know you're with me on this one... come on...

Isnt it stupid... you get all these large scale Macross Human figures yet you cant get Zentran and Meltrandi figures the same size... which would make them about 1/72 - 1/60 scale to go with all our Models and DX units.

dirty words!!!!

hmm ok I got it wrong with how sniper bids worked. I thought it was like eBay where it bid UP TO your maximum sniper bid... so... I made a few sellers happy recently paying good prices! Damn it!! Typical NCO... do something, screw it up THEN go read the instructions...

Valkyries Third Sortie - and it's in English!

Isnt the term... "ADDICT" I get the impression you get the DDTs if you dont get a regular 1/60 scale bargain I'm hoping to get some good enough image scans from these books to be able to make Wall Paper out of for my Home Office walls. -
yeah its just the regular Hasegawa RVF with the superpacks. So no Ghosts. Most are getting the Bandai one for the ghosts then selling, parking or trashing the Bandai RVF. I did that to get my hands on the one Ghost I wanted.

Ordered a set of the Shapeways 1/72 Deck crew to compare to my current Fujiama crew. I needed more guys and girls standing round like most Navy personal doing sweet FA...

Yeah... It sucks to be obsessed with an idea that requires I really "need" it and have dumped a big snipe bid on it

How much should I pay for a 1/72 Resin Heavy Missile system for the Regult? Note, this is JUST the missile system not the Regult as well.

I can post you a pilot and the two seaters use the same pilot figures. Is this still happening?

Latest update on the restocking of the ES-11D at Starship Modeller... Email sent 15mins ago... "Hi, have you heard anything from Starship modeller about the restocking of your ES-11D Catseye? Still on track for 2 weeks time?" "Yes. We are casting these this week. I can’t guarantee how fast these will be stocked once shipped. Also there is a pending mail strike in Canada so that may delay things. David Guertin"

Thats a Large Format Flat Bed UV Curable Resin printer.... VERY big dollars. http://www.supremegraphics.com/feature/signs-banners/ Follow the link to see the minimum material thickness (usually 3mm) that they can do. For scale that printer table is about 1200 wide by 2400mm long. HOWEVER.... you COULD get clever with some backyard engineering and build a table yourself that runs a low power laser engraver (used for wood branding) to "write" your image onto your styrene. https://www.epiloglaser.com/products/zing-laser-series.htm See here for what can be marked or cut https://www.epiloglaser.com/products/zing-laser-series.htm Then there is actual styrene laser cutters... http://www.cutlasercut.com/laser-cutting-materials-laser-engraving-materials/white-hips-styrene
