    I think when I saw this before the legs were straight forward and now they angle out a little and that helps a lot. I get the feeling Sentinel might do something to rain on this guy's parade though...

    The 1S costs the same 18,000 yen as the first two releases. I think what you're seeing is retailer mark up on a high demand item.

    Reshooting drives me nuts... It's even worse when doing videos. You'll be stitching things together only to realize you messed up along the way but now you've continued shooting so you have to go back, transform the toy, maybe transform other toys, and redo the video. Maybe a 'spot the issue' group of photos would be fun.

    Since there was no price or details of included items, I think we have some time. Bandai can be unpredictable but this doesn't seem imminent to me.

    Maybe it's a lesson learned from their Scopedog toys? They made their Scopedog as massive as Yamato's but removed the design elements that make the Yamato so cool (disassembly) and instead prioritized good looks and some articulation improvements... all of which would have worked wonderfully at 1/18 to 1/24 scale. Maybe this time around they're going to go a little smaller scale, ditch some of the design excesses, and focus on articulation improvements.

    I really don't think this is going to be a full set, I think they're going to skimp and do a TWE add on. I think the full set was just a reaction to Arcadia... I also wouldn't be surprised to see a less robust YF-19 reissue like a year after the 21 drops.

    I have a DX VF-1S Hikaru and Arcadia Proto-Garland on order from Anime-Export. If the Proto Garland actually releases this month and Arnime Export continues to ghost me then I'll probably ship my SV-51 with those toys and rely on friends in Japan to interact directly with Arcadia on my behalf if I need to...

    Bummer! That thing is looking super unique, I look forward to the completed pics. I was without power for 36 hours and it felt way too long. Hope life gets back to normal for you ASAP. -
