  1. I'd write a full translation but am too lazy to This is just a fan petition for continuing the Macross 7 storyline for the 30th anniversary of Macross. They also include a sample plot about Basara getting invited to a music festival and ending up getting stuck in a trap. A lil more about the plot and then some about who would be doing the various parts of the Anime. Even mentions bringing back mikimoto-sensei into the mix again. At the bottom they ask Macross 7 fans to write in. SOoo.. if you're a huge M7 fan, go for it I guess... Not a new anime release...how sad
  2. I've always wanted to get this one, but I was leary of paying nearly 1.5x as much for the same valk with a few extra pieces when you could pay a little less and get one of the solid Armored pack valks that locks up beautifully in fighter mode
  3. Try to convince Eduard to make it. I've been so spoiled by their products I forgot what painting Photo Etch was like
  4. Instead of making that awful abomination they coulda made a VF-171 instead....

    VF-171

I'd Love to have this but it is way out of my reach cost and distribution wise. I hope a few years down the road Hase can get the license and make us some real 1/72 fixed scale 171s and 25s.
  6. Let's hope they added in some sort of locking like in the Armored and Vf-27 >_<
  7. if you can spend 2300 for the toy you can spend an extra 100-200 commissioning somebody to paint it up for you I guess
  8. I don't even care what people say. IF it's my lunch break I break out a small model kit and start trimming. Lunch break has been where I did most of my prep work for my models for the last 3 years O_O
  9. To be honest if there were an alternative fighter kit from the likes of Hasegawa I'd buy those since I only display the models in fighter mode. I swear one small move in the wrong direction and kaboom there goes a chunk of the decal. Just look at the official Macross Frontier Archive model book and look at how many of the display models have chipped decals O_o Also, if hase released a non-transforming kit you'd have beautiful VF-25's with better fighter-proportions and prolly a much cheaper price-tag
  10. I'm waiting on 2 1/72 VF-25G kits so that I can make some CF VF-25's (Though can you really call them Cannon Fodders since you see alto's 25F get blown up more than the brown 25's )
  11. I am going to pick up some more 25g's to customize into these. Seriously the only required change is using a regular gunpod, which i have a few from my RVF's
  12. You're out of luck. Nothing can really replace that part so you might consider permanently making it into fighter / gerwalk These models aren't really meant to be transformed a whole lot as the joints will get way too loose and the thing is very, very fragile
  13. I wish they'd do a wide release of the YF-25 in the future. Maybe in a different color scheme to boot, because I am a HUGE fan of 2-seaters. Heck, they should release the 25g in two seater config for ep 13-14!
  14. /me cries at unbuilt 1/48 resin valks in the closet
  15. I'll be getting these just for the gerwalk mode. they look great imho for that
  16. I'll be getting these just for the gerwalk mode. they look great imho for that
  17. I bet Bandai will release 1/72 Alto...yet again... but now with tornado pack
  18. It's all a matter of opinion. I personally prefer the 1/48 because I bought it already and don't feel like repopulating a shelf with mini 1/60 VF-1s, especially when there's a huge influx of new macross products like the frontier line from Bandai...
  19. I'm just happy Hasegawa is still releasing VF's at all, though I'd widh they'd re-release the low vis..but we all know about hase and their limited releases
  20. Looks cool, though you'd have to get a lot of people signed up since the min order is 125 sheets O_o
  21. Nobody is forcing people to buy these items and being a collector is 100% voluntary. Since they've been getting this far, I'd assume their prices MUST be fair because people still buy and collect them. However, I've yet to buy a single thing from them after I stopped with my 1/48's since I'm really not a fan of ANY design after the vf-1, and the 1/60's just don't stand out too much to me to actually go buy them all over again
  22. This can only be good for Macross Fans. With a powerhouse like Bandai looking like its actually investing into Macross now, we have some strong competition in the market which will mean only better products from Both Bandai and Yamato in the future
  23. As bad as any manager is the one that tries to kill you (grace) kinda takes the cake....
