I've bought plenty of legit kits and toys from Hobbyfan without an issue. They may have started as a garage-kit dealer but they do sell lots of legit stuff....

the 3 from hobbyfan cost the same as 2 from NY. Minus well If the Hobbyfan ones pull through I'll keep 1 for super and 2 for customs. Then I'll pawn off the NY's at cost on Mworld. The Elint-type valks are my favorites. I have like 5 1/72 RVF-25's

If NY and hobbyfan pulls through I might end up with 5 RVF's, which I'll gladly pass along to MW members :0 The RVF is my fav valk. I really want to see one in ghost grey with a yellow nose :0

HObby-fan has been pretty good for me in the past. One time a garage kit I pre-ordered was delayed a year and they called me after I'd forgotten about it and told me my CC expired lol. Crossing my fingers because..well.. it's Bandai lol

It's a long-shot, but I just pre-ordered a few off of Hobbyfan.com. I doubt they'll pull through but if they do I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I don't know why they just don't also offer the valks at retail on the tamashii web site like they do for the super packs and whatnot. It would eliminate all the risk of overproduction and they'd make more money. But who knows......

It's their show and they can do what they want. Japanese macross demand is nowhere near where we think it is, despite what hardcore macross fans may feel. Goto akiba and see for yourself. Japanese stores stock what sells and you're hard pressed to find dedicated macross sections let alone loads of Bandai and Yamato valks. Only a handful of shops even had shelf space of just macross when I was there. Heck, somebody who went to Akiba recently was finding VF-171 exes for half retail! Sure, you could say Bandai should think of the export market, but how can they when HG has "Macross" trademarked anywhere outside of Japan?

I would but... well.. you see a pattern here with the collection. I aim to have 2 of each. I'm no Master of Macross who gets at least 3 though

Love the Gerwalk pics. Don't know what it is but the YF-29 looks best in gerwalk for me Can't wait for the fast-packs to come out

I highly doubt the mold was for a kit. Why would it be in the same scale as the yf-29,and why would it have been displayed with the yf-29 chogokins?

Finally got some Gundam stands for my 1/72 valks I Don't care what anyone says. The 1/48 with Stealth Strike packs is still boss. Also, that 1/72 super 25S? It only looks solid because I freaking glued it together in fighter mode Thing is a floppy nightmare otherwise

Yup. The Detolf cases which are 65 a pop. Really cheap for decent, modern looking curio cases. It was just a pain getting them upstairs by myself. The glass is heavier than you'd expect lol.

Bandai 1/72 Mac Frontier VF-25F Alto armored - newbie help

Highly Doubt it. There have been no new 1/72 releases since the limited 25G Tornado set. After that Bandai sorta went the way of the Renewals and there have been no new 1/72 mac frontier releases or announcements. You could say the line is pretty much dead in terms of new releases.
