  1. Great video! I was wondering if anyone ever noticed there are two completely different molds of these bootlegs. Not sure if there are any similarities with <T.T> versions, or if either of these are like the original.
  2. That is really nice. I have one of his first releases. Mighty fine work.
  3. For me it would be Gross Ponte Blank. The movie was good and the soundtrack was awesome. If I ever get bored of watching the movie I can always just listen.
  4. Are these your commissions?
  5. I am sure you can make these customs with relative ease. Not much to but use Scale Coat and rub off the paint where needed on VF-1A Reissues then paint as desired. These were done in a matter of days. Only because it took time for the parts to dry. Give it a shot.
  6. You’ll see more after the Super Dimension Convention.
  7. Thanks man. Actually a huge thanks goes out to the original commissioner of these beautiful birds. Thanks Fearyaks. I was just lucky enough to spot the sale and grab all of them at once.
  8. Thanks. Yup. I agree with you on DX. There seems to be areas where if they put a little more effort they would have been increadible beyond an update and paint apps. They’re still nice to play with and prominence on any shelf.
  9. Awesome!!!
  10. Good gawd no!! It’s just a weird bootleg from HK. HG could never pull off something so original. I recall there being an even stranger version where the body was a cobbled Devastator look-a -ike combiner with a blue 1/55 VF-1S head. This VF-002 is one that can at least be recognized as a jet and (sorta?) Battroid.
  11. Two negatives make a positive!! That’s AWESOME!!! Glad you guys love it. 😜
  12. I know what you mean. I wouldn’t mind picking up a GBP and VF-1D for cheap. Thanks that means a lot coming from the King of HMR Customs. Here’s a panorama of my set long before Toynami even thought of doing some of these and befor the original HMR sets. Still nice to look at but not touch.
  13. It’s always been a pleasure seeing your work. And owning these masterful artworks is just icing on the cake.
  14. Without dispute you are totally correct.
  15. I have to say, no matter how craptacular these are people still tend to buy them. I remember being on the band wagon for these when first introduced. Now I look back and realized they were fine for the time a long, long time ago. To this day I still own some. From time to time, I consider getting rid of them, but then I just leave them be. Lots of customs made with these.
  16. The work Lek does is truly astounding. I often check out his repaints due to the upbeat music and his incredible skill to make amazing customs.
  17. Hope this will suffice for now. I will be displaying these and more at SDCon in October. You should all come out and enjoy and support this time honored event. For the fans by the fans.
  18. If only the DX could have the arm attachment for the escape cockpit. C’mon Bandai. We have faith in you. Maybe a second console that swivels out of the way. Now that you know, it should not be too hard to make the next one perfect. You can do it!
  19. Thank you. The customs are a menagerie from various customizers here on MW.
