  1. If the decals have been clear coated already, then you might want to not have a remedy other than replacing the decals. If you HAVEN'T clear coated the over the decals, then Setting Solution might help soften the decal. You can then prick the bubble and press the decal as smooth as possible. Then allow to dry and clear.
  2. Awesome job!! Please post links to the availability of your kits.
  3. The cold weather is where the problem lies. Usually cold humid weather will give cloudy (sad face results). Sometimes using a heater can help clear this up, but if doesn't...well you know what you've got to do. Good Luck.
  4. True, but you really are comparing apples to oranges. Yamato is on the designing forefront of completely distinct and never before scene mecha coming to life.
  5. How well do the ball joints hold overtime??
  6. Because it needs to be detroyed by Guld.
  7. If all goes well, please have Yamato think of the connection between the Tled and Legioss. Otherwise we'll just end up with another subpar connecting set of mecha. Good Luck.
  8. Looks pretty good. So are these available through Shapeways???
  9. Sure would be great if Yamato is behind these. And eventhough they decide to make it HDP kits for both, I am totally in for these. They might as well throw in a the spider bug while they're at. Or some other obscure background mecha.
  10. Cute. Let's hope they do a YF-21 to match.
  11. Isn't this, part of, the reason people were excited to see the VF-19?? It closely resembles the anime. The 17 is a beast and really does an excellent job of hiding it's enourmous battroid stature while in fighter mode. It's very intimidating for a pilot to see a fighter about the size of a VF-11B only to be suprised by a fighter the size of the Fz-109.
  12. Careful with disassembly, as parts like the screw covers and the two halves are glued together.
  13. Holy Moly!! Damn that looks AWESOME!!!
  14. Kurisama, Most excellent idea. Can't wait for the final execution. Just a recommendation...How about a black heatshield instead of all white? It would make the skull insignia stand out.
  15. These are trully nice kits. And there is a wide assortment to choose from. It's just too bad their all WF limited, exclusives. http://www.metal-box.jp/mb/ These are the same guys who created the "SD Monster" in 2011. http://www.metal-box.jp/mb/?id=613 These sure would be nice to own, considering they actually concluded the Destroid line. Plus they created the VF-1A,J,S and the Glaug.
  16. As we speak, this is what I am working on. But not to make existing parts, mainly modifications and conversion parts.
  17. GMANIFESS, Very cool very unique. Great job.
  18. I would suggest scratch building with styrene. Using the any existing resin cast seats will basically be the premise to your custom. Also, you can make the build more to your artistic nuances. But if you do wish to use the resin cast seat IMHO I would go with ACES II Ejection seat for the F-15 or F-16 with a combination of the F-18 Hornet Ejection seat. Not exact but I think this combined would definitely fit the bill.
  19. Keep your spirits up. What you have so far is very impressive, indeed.
  20. Great work. They all look fantastic. My favorite ix the last pic. You really demonstrate the complete difference between the DYRL and TV Q-Raus. I would love to see the TV Q-Rau printed, if at all possible.
  21. Excellent news, Graham. Yet there is still one more suggestion, IIRC VF5SS, made a comment about making the engines on top of shoulders rotatable to allow better shoulder articulation. Let's hope to getting at least some of these suggestions.
  22. If the concensus is to retcon the dimensions of all valkyries using the pilots as a starting point...hmmm, this sounds oddly familiar to...
  23. You nailed it!! Fantastic details and superb build.
  24. But didn't SDF-M always emphasize the reason the VF-1 was as tall as it was, only to combat aliens of the same size, more or less? It just makes sense to keep the VF-1 the size of the VF-0 rather than shrink it to accomodate smaller engines.
