    I wonder if Bandai held back on the release of the VF-31S/E because they saw the designs by Kawamori and realized that they need to retrofit the Siegfried mold so it is able to equip the Armor Parts. Maybe we see some running changes on the VF-31A release since it will be able to have the Armor Parts equipped.

    So the other one is Chucks VF-31E? Do all members of Delta Flight get the upgrade or just those two? Yes or no is sufficiant as an answer.

    Today I'm a happy camper because I received MP-12+. And oh boy is it better quality wise than my first release. The red paint is without any defects. The white painted shoulder cannon and thighs are a nice touch. Something is different about the face so it is not lost in the helmet. Not sure if it is a different head sculpt, because of the different color or both but it looks better. Compared to Sunstreaker who was in the same box it looks dated as hell but I'm glad I spent the extra money on this copy. I will replace the old one with the MP-12+ and the original will be added to my desk toys at the office. I still don't understand why people prefer the hollow wheels on their Masterpiece toys but I guess after so many releases it is a hallmark of this line so they probably won't change them.

    I generally like it but I think the gigantic missile launchers are too big. I‘m also disappointed that the color scheme of the Valkyrie is not continued on the armor.

Looks like the Sakura is already sold out at HLJ but still available at amiami: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-036825&page=top Ken is also available: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-036824 I think I will preorder from BBTS and see if I can catch one from HLJ. Canceling an item is just much less hassle compared to amiami. Sadly figinstock is gone so I have to be cautious myself. I need to push this line because I want Bandai to at least make the complete cast of New Challengers.

    I saw a VF-31J Kai on Mandarake before leaving the house. Sadly I wasn't fast enough to order it.

    So after thinking a lot about The Last Jedi I came to the conclusion that I'm actually pretty o.k. with was where the characterization of Luke, the Snoke, Reys heritage etc. I also don't think that it is a worse movie than the prequels because the dialog and acting is solid to good, it is well shot and all in all a well produced movie. That said I still think it is a very flawed movie if not a bad one because it managed to pile up so many flaws. I tried to cluster it in three different portions why I think the movie is bad (there I said it): The film inspected in isolation, the film as the middle piece of a trilogy and the film as a successor for The Force Awakens (spoilers just in case) In every category the movie has massive problems and in this post I will try to summarize my feelings on the first one:

    I think the idea with the Enigma of Combination is to place it in the dino head when combined and use the Prime Masters in hands and feet to power up the bot. Starscream also comes with an enigma that can be placed in his chest in torso mode.

    In my parts of the woods it went from "available soon" yesterday to "sold out" today.

    I don't know the panels on the arm kills it somewhat for me. From an engineering standpoint I loved what they where able to achieve with the MPM Optimus Prime. Barricade and now Ironhide look like a massive step back.

    It would be a shame if the Takara releases where identical. I had high hopes for a Takara PotP Nemesis Prime repaint without those dreaded stickers on the toy.

    Saw the movie today. It was a confusing experience. I have to think about it some more. There is the real possibility that I‘m not a Star Wars fan any longer. What is the consensus on MW?

    I didn’t say they look more realistic. To me they bring it to life. Meaning, the decals make it more interesting to look at. Something that catches the eye. Especially the red markings on the Hi-Nu. Good luck with your kit.

    I'm on the other side of the spectrum. I love the Ver. Ka kits. All the MG kits I build so far are from that line. I think the Hi-Nu is my favorite. In the pipeline I have the ZZ and the Sinanju Stein. I especially dig all the small labels. To me this brings the toy to life. The only think I prefer on the old MG kit are the "camo" markings on the shield since it looks so plain compared to it. I'm also not a fan of the fading out effect on the fin funnels. It looks out of place with the rest of the kit. I think I would preferred it if the had the blue pattern in the same style as the old MG shield.

    Has anyone followed the release of MP-12+ the more cartoon faithful Lambor release? If so is the paint for the car applied more evenly or is it comparable to the regular MP-12 release? I looked at a few galleries but it is hard to tell from the images found online.

    So I went ahead and ordered Fans Hobby Archenemy. Let's see if it gets to me before Christmas and if I like him once I have him in hand. I really want to experience a Fans Hobby toy since they seem to get so much praise in the reviews and on the boards. Archenemy has the added bonus that he fits right into my Nemesis Prime/Black Convoy/Scourge collection I'm curating. Let's see how it goes I'm excited.

    I hope MMC does a Ratbat. MP Ratbat with his unnecessary accessory was a bad move by Takara.

    Did you order both from HLJ and the item was limited to 1 per customer? If so there might be an issue because HLJ can suspend your account for this and they did so in the past if I remember correctly.
