  1. I got my Cliffjumper earlier this week and I dig him. I’m especially taken back by the finish of the red parts. I don’t know if the red is painted but it feels really high quality (like the toy as a whole). The parts forming is unfortunate but I think the design team is focusing on a good looking Transformer in robot mode. I‘m looking forward to other releases. I‘d love to get a Galvatron from this line. Sadly the Starscream seems really lackluster especially with having the New Age Skywarp on my desk.
  2. Their Star Saber, Tarn and both Drifts are good too!!!
  3. WE built this Internet???? No you built it, it is your fault!!! I kid, I kid, we all know that Tim built it. Clearly he is to blame!!! I wonder if we get a Kuro Kars Kuri version of Windblade (or Arcee, Nautica, Firestar). I would be all over those; so to speak. Regarding the prototype I‘m not sure if I like the face sculpt but that could be because it is not painted. I’d also wish the bow on her back was bigger.
  4. Yeah I assume Sentinel burnt themselves with the 4ichinel Cutman. The Maverick designs are just that more exciting compared with X and Zero.
  5. Hopefully this will go perfectly with my Truforce Mega Man X. Storm Eagle when?
  6. The MMC Arcee is a joy to transform. The only parts that don’t fit 100% are the connection between the outer ans inner wing pieces. The reason why I‘m stressing this is that I feel MMC figured out how to do Arcee in a proper (i.e. fun, straightforward and solid) way. Much like MakeToys handled Despotron. They solved the riddle.
  7. I can‘t think of a single change in any Masterpiece toy once Takara has shown a prototype. I think Arcee will be released like this.
  8. So MP-50 is a oversized knockoff of MP Cheetor? I had hoped for something more special. The number 50 seems to hold no significant meaning for Takara. Having both FTs and the OX Arcee I think I‘m good. Especially the OX does the transformation so well. I don‘t think Takara can outdo MMC on this character.
  9. To be fair the New Age Seeker mold is better than all the other Starscreams out there (I have the Skywarp version)
  10. I mean why wouldn’t it turn into a lynx? All it needs to du is flip out the head. Given how slavish this design team follows what G1 did I can’t imagine it won’t.
  11. Ok boomer. [edit:] Wait, is it too late to say something like that? It is hard to keep up with the kids nowadays
  12. One of the podcast I Iisten to mentioned that, out of fear of knock-offs, Takara manufactured the parts in Vietnam and shipped them to China for assembly. If that is true there wouldn’t be a possibility to fix tolerance issues hence the many broken pieces.
  13. I hope they fix it with the repaints
  14. The white Gundam should be the Perfect Grade Unicorn Gundam model kit: https://www.hlj.com/1-60-scale-pg-unicorn-gundam-ban994365 There is a Fixed Figuration Metal Composite available but I think you have one of those already.
  15. He won’t replace hin on my shelf either. But I‘m looking forward having a Detritus from the MP mold.
  16. Reading through the thread over at TFW. I hope yours doesn’t break.
  17. I think it is a fine line to walk on. Heft for hefts sake ist detrimental to a toy. A good example would be Alternity Starscreams die-cast doors. Terrible decision to make those out of metal. One the other end of the spectrum is MP Star Saber who feels like a $7 soap bottle toy. And it is not just die-cast it is also the plastic used, the way the joints move, etc. Sentinel does it well, Bandai Tamashii Nations too. Arcadias VF-1 feels almost too flimsy for my likings.
  18. @sqidd from what you showed of your collection I feel that both the TE and MS Prime will not have enough paint (the standard releases) and feel too light* for your liking. I have all four molds and I feel MP-44 has the most shelf presence. After that I would put MP-10. If you are not in a hurry you could wait if Takara will release a standalone version of MP-44. MP-10 goes well with Maketoys Despotron. Which is the best MP Megatron. *with light I want to say too much like a toy and not a collectible.
  19. All the UT and DX9 MP movie robots (Challenger, La Heir and Dragoon). I also like MP 44 and the Transform Element Primes. FTs Maverick, Roadking and Quietus too. MP Dinobot, Ironhide and Sunstreaker come to mind. I also liked all the storage for legs and tails on the FT Dinobots.
