  1. Ah, got it, the 04/25 is the release for the Red Frame Alternative Strike version. I assume on the 24th there will be more info on the Blue Frame Second Revive.
  2. Does it say if it is a web shop exclusive or a regular release? Also is it odd that the release is on a weekend? I only knew about releases on a weekday.
  3. Since it already been stated that the Kuro Kara Kuri Transformers are the pinnacle of this franchise for me you know where my preferences lie. TR Galvatron feels super flimsy with thin plastic panels. It feels like one of those shampoo bottle toys. I was a big fan of the Universe Galvatron and it’s complicated engineering so the simplistic transformation of the Titans Return one did not bode well with me. Lastly, which doesn’t apply to Super Megatron, he fails at being Galvatron. Terrible head and can’t aim his gun properly. Maybe I should see if I can acquire Big Cannon and/or Mania King.
  4. I just notices that it is a retool of TR Galvatron. These legs looked familiar. That kills all interest in the figure for me. The Galvatron is so bad I wont touch any of his descendants with a 10 foot pole!
  5. I would say they are similar in some aspects like paint and materials used. And they are stylized versions of their original design. Both also come with their fair share of accessories and a stand (I prefer the MB stand though) One the other hand they are totally different. Chemical Attack (the design team) takes great care into putting lots of engineering into how parts move on the toy. The joints on a Metal Build are much simpler in design most of the time. Also all Kuro Kara Kuri toys come with a bunch of light-up features (that I don’t care about). The Flame Toys stuff is also more expensive but that seems sensible to me since they are not Bandai and their toys are bulkier and have more features.
  6. I keep wondering, how the New Age transformation would work on an MP scaled figure. Especially the way the chest and leg fins transform is so innovative and awesome.
  7. I would say the Flame Toys releases are the pinnacle of Transformers collectibles because the available transforming counterparts are mostly subpar or straight up trash. MP-44 is good but then again he is riddled with issues that no Flame Toys release has. This is especially true for the fit and finish of the figure. The paint quality and sharpness of the sculpt is not up to speed compared to the Kuro Kara Kuri Prime. I have lots of transforming Transformers but i have a hard time finding a piece that is objectively better than Flame Toys releases. If someone would ask me what the best collectible of Optimus Prime is, the top 3 would probably be: Unimetal, Kuro Kara Kuri and MP-44 and I don‘t even like or particularly care for anything the Unimetal Prime does. Of course if you say that Generations Drift is better than Flame Toys Drift because he transforms you can have this opinion. I for my part think we should accept greatness when we see it
  8. I just wish Flame Toys would come up with better designs for their joints. The knees of my Optimus where too loose for my likings straight out of the box.
  9. I love the Kuro Kara Kuri non-transformable Transformers and if that GGG is in the same style I will be satisfied. I think CMs Corp did a transformable ne which wasn’t any good so this is a missed opportunity in my eyes. Plus I have the Super Robot Chogokin Genesic Gaogaigar which is still awesome.
  10. Has anyone found the preorder for Sentinels Genesic Gaogaigar on HLJ? I really want to preorder it but it should be a place where I can cancel without a fuss if necessary. With the whole Rona situation going on it is uncertain if I can spend 50k JPY on toys in December. I‘m also a tad disappointed that it doesn’t transform. It would be a great companion piece for the SoC Gaogaigar. That reminds me. Has Sentinel announced if the wants to release more Gaogaigar toys in this style/line?
  11. That Lebron James figure desperately needs a screaming head option.
  12. I got my Cliffjumper earlier this week and I dig him. I’m especially taken back by the finish of the red parts. I don’t know if the red is painted but it feels really high quality (like the toy as a whole). The parts forming is unfortunate but I think the design team is focusing on a good looking Transformer in robot mode. I‘m looking forward to other releases. I‘d love to get a Galvatron from this line. Sadly the Starscream seems really lackluster especially with having the New Age Skywarp on my desk.
  13. Their Star Saber, Tarn and both Drifts are good too!!!
  14. WE built this Internet???? No you built it, it is your fault!!! I kid, I kid, we all know that Tim built it. Clearly he is to blame!!! I wonder if we get a Kuro Kars Kuri version of Windblade (or Arcee, Nautica, Firestar). I would be all over those; so to speak. Regarding the prototype I‘m not sure if I like the face sculpt but that could be because it is not painted. I’d also wish the bow on her back was bigger.
  15. Yeah I assume Sentinel burnt themselves with the 4ichinel Cutman. The Maverick designs are just that more exciting compared with X and Zero.
  16. Hopefully this will go perfectly with my Truforce Mega Man X. Storm Eagle when?
  17. The MMC Arcee is a joy to transform. The only parts that don’t fit 100% are the connection between the outer ans inner wing pieces. The reason why I‘m stressing this is that I feel MMC figured out how to do Arcee in a proper (i.e. fun, straightforward and solid) way. Much like MakeToys handled Despotron. They solved the riddle.
  18. I can‘t think of a single change in any Masterpiece toy once Takara has shown a prototype. I think Arcee will be released like this.
